Fabric & Upholstery Protector - 6.8 oz. (200ml) - As Seen on Shark Tank

Despite all of the negative reviews I purchased this product anyway & I love it. I purchased the upholstery one to spray my headboard & suitcase. Before I sprayed & "possibly ruined" those expensive items I sprayed it on a $6 pair of suede shoes I thrifted & it worked great! The water beaded & fell off as I poured over the top of the shoe. Obviously, if you're wanting to spray shoes, especially suede shoes, I'd purchase the spray specifically for those items.

Our couch upholstery is protected and looks great. We have an active family and pets - so far so good. We are very happy with this product.

Recently bought a new couch and used this product since everyone in my house likes to eat on the couch. a few liquid items spilled. yes they cleaned up nice. but a small discolor could be noticed where the stain once was. over all is still happy with product

After over a year of having this stain and water repellant on a hassock, I feel that I can give it a fair review. First of all, it works very well, and repels stains and water much longer than it even recommends on the bottle. I put it on one of my oatmeal-colored hassocks to prevent cat barf stains (anybody who owns a cat will know what I'm talking about!) and it worked 100%. I liked the fact that I wasn't exposing my animals to scary chemicals, too. However, the one real problem that I had with the product is that it attracts and holds dirt. When I compared my two identical hassocks, I could see that the one that I'd applied DetraPel to was way dirtier, even though it's used less. I had to scrub it with a solution of dish detergent to remove the dirt and product. Final verdict: probably great for boots and such, but I won't put it on any other light-colored furnishings.

Needed for the price was good. Purchased since it was in coupon to have in stock for pantry

Bought 10 cans after seeing it on Shark Tank. Thought I could use it on my table cloths and as Christmas gifts. I read the reviews and saw some cans had a spray nozzle problem. Since a Shark was involved I assumed that problem had been resolved or they would not send it. I was WRONG! the spray nozzle dribbles and spurts. I can not tell if this is an awesome product or not, as I can't get the can to spray.Sad, as I thought this would be awesome.

This product works exactly as promised. Water and dirt beat it up right on my fabric an a pole street and wiped right off without any residue. It did not change the look, color or feel of my upholstery. Love this so much I bought some and had it sent to my son for his sofas as well as he has small children and dogs. I love this product

Before I used Detrapel on my dining chair cushions I sprayed an old white pillow and put Ketchup on it. It came right off with no stain!
