Just a heads up, I ordered this to go on my older Aqua Tech 30-60, I had been given years ago from a friend who said it never would work correctly. I was down sizing my tank and decided to give it a try. He was right, it did not maintain position. (vibrated out and made terrible noise) I ordered this to correct the issue. Nope, this does not work on the older models. So based on the price for a new set up, I ordered the newer version Aqua Tech 30-60. This part has a lip that fits it perfect. (Yes, the new set up came with one too, but us tank owners always keep extras) Runs very quiet, works great!

This tube and impeller set works perfectly - and if I had a 30-60 filter it would be perfect, lol. I have a 20-40 filter and I bought this set because I needed a replacement ASAP and I read on some of the questions that this one would fit my filter. Well, the impeller does fit the pump housing and it runs great - in fact - too great for the size of my filter. Since the tube is bigger there is more water flow. The tube also is a little longer so it sits higher than the smaller version would. However, if you need something in a pinch - this will work. It is also cheaper than buying a brand new filter.

It works perfectly fine and I was pleasantly surprised that when my original piece, it didn't cost too much to "fix." But here is some more information from my original review in case you have this situation as well... This piece didn't fit right away and I had to continue to "play" with it (moving it back and forth and continuously trying to get it to work as it should). Immediately, it acted as if it was going to work then once I let go it would stop. This was concerning to start but I really needed it to work and didn't give up! LOL! Ultimately it worked and things are great with this new piece. I will be order another for my backup piece as well! Just wanted to share that experience just in case....because if it doesn't fit/work right away; don't give up if it takes a bit to get it going (LOL)!

Simple replacement part. It works well. Not sure about the shipping though. This is a precision part. To be shipped in a bubble envelope for a part that won't work if bent , well, it worked this time.

I've got a footlong red eared slider turtle who loves to run her shell on the intake screen for the filter, after years of disabling the filter by pushing the tube and impeller off of the magnetic motor she finally broke a couple fins on the impeller making it wobble... I did a quick fix by removing fins to make it semetrical again which fixed the noise issue but reduced water flow significantly. This was an exact replacement for my aquatech 30-60 filter, just unplugged the unit, removed old tube and impeller, slid new assembly in place and it snapped down into locked position easily, plugged unit back in and it's quieter and moving more water than it has in years... Now I've got a bonus set of tubes that I may utilize to construct an under gravel filter to aid in turtle sludge management. Long story short, if you're having any issues with noise or water flow of your 30-60 and your filters are clean then this is what you need.

Ordered this Aqua Tech Tube Set for my 30 to 60 gal. Aqua Tech Filter. A perfect fit and the only difference was the original intake tube was clear and the new one is black. My filter was not getting the job done for cleaning the water no matter how many times I changed the water and filters. Seemed not to have enough force to circulate the water for aeration and cleaning. Was thinking about a new filter but the only moving part is the impeller so I decided to try this tube set. IT WORKS! More forceful flow and water cleared in a day. Going to purchase another for backup. Would recommend.

A perfect replacement for my very old and very noisy impeller. I have the Aqua Tech 30-60. I pulled out the old tube and impeller. (Old one was a clear lower tube). Installed this new kit. Throw away all the old stuff. Now my filter is so much quieter, with significantly improved water flow as well. I am very happy.

The picture didn't match the product I got. The product I got was for the larger filter. the 40-60 gallon. It has a slightly larger impeller and also the tube size is larger. the tube is in four pieces, the curved section, a connector for the extension tube (which is clear) an then the strainer end to keep large debris and smaller fish from being sucked into the filter. The description of the the one shown is for the next smaller filter 30-40 gallon. It is the one piece tube with the detachable safety strainer. I actually needed just the impeller part of the assembly but couldn't find just that part for my filter. I purchased this assembly anyway because I knew the impeller would interchange with it. I own both sizes of this filter so I knew that the impeller would attach well from the smaller one to the larger filter. So when the larger tube assembly showed up I was alright with it. I did want to warn people that what you get is not what is shown and if you need this part for the smaller filter it will not exchange with that. I didn't contact the vendor because what I wanted was exactly what came for me. Since, in the larger tube set up the impeller is not removable it will not fit into the smaller tube shown in the picture.
