Q: Looking for the dimensions (width / depth) of the shelf on the bottom below the hang section.

Each of the 3 small shelves are 11 7/8" W x 11 7/8" Depth.

Q: can this item be assembled and disassembled easily? I use the single Sognomic Rack for pop up events and looking for another to add.

No it can’t. It takes a while to assemble and is very heavy and bulky. Everything is screwed in. Would not work well at all for a pop up event.

Q: Have you experienced water damage on the wood with leaking plants? Any rust?

No, I do not put plants on the shelves. If i put plants on the shelves in the future , would make sure the was some king of secondary containment for the water.

Q: What are the dimensions of the top shelf? Is it narrower than the bottom shelf?

Top shelf is 40.5 inches long & 12 inches wide. The bottom shelf is 16 inches wide.
