I clean a whole bag(4 pounds) with a lot of water three times. then I put the whole thing into a very big pot with a lot of water and crank up the heat to the highest until the beans starting to bubbling(mine,15 minutes)after that I stirred them well and turned the heat to medium high and leave it alone for 30 minutes or so with the lid open a little bit after that I opened the lid and stir it well one more time then turn off the heat and cover with the lid tightly, leave it for 2 to 3 hours after that I put them in quart freezer bag divided to portion of 7 bags and let them completely cool, then freeze them for future use, best is three months but will last for six months in the freezer, the beans was creamy delicious! I can’t resist to put two big spoonful right out of freshly cooked beans with no seasoning into my mouth!😁.
