I bought this because of where my outside electrical is located due to living on the first floor of a condo. My electrical is to the left side of my door but the bushes I wanted to put lights on was on the right side of the door. I like the way this easily went into the ground and it has one button that I pressed to turn it off or on. Instead of unplugging the actual cord to the lights. Very well made but do take care when pushing it into the ground the plastic spear could easily break if someone forced it too hard.

I liked that it has a serge pare not made for rotector built in, I like it has 6 outlets, three on each side. Don't like the outlets are on thr small side and the covers come off

Power strip has numerous outlets on both sides of it. Works well outside.

I bought two of them for our outdoor Christmas inflatables and lights. I was then able to use only two long electric cords instead of the usual five. Great product.

I have a couple of similar staked outdoor extension cords and wanted another. This looks like the same ones that I already have, but it’s not. The stake on this one is very flimsy. I didn’t push it all the way into the ground because the plastic stake feels like it could easily break in hard soil or if it hit a rock. The stake flexes, so the whole thing wobbles when I turn it on and off. I have to hold the top steady with one hand while pressing the on/off switch to keep it steady. The on/off switch is also touchy. Although it clicks when I turn it on and off, it does t actually turn the power to the outlets on or off all the time and I have to switch it a couple of times. I would not buy this extension again. I should have looked in my order history for the older, far more sturdy and reliable ones I already have. For what I’m using this one for, it’s more or less okay, but if you plan on inserting/removing it from the ground from time to time, buy one that has a much stronger, more rigid stake than this one. If you have firm, but not hard soil and plan to leave this in place, it’s probably mostly fine as long as you hold it with one hand to stabilize it when you turn the switch off/on.

Was so happy to see Amazon had the outdoor power strips. They are so hard to find in our area. These are so strong and easy to put into the ground and having 6 slots is a big help in decorating our yard for the holidays.
