Cugino'sGourmet Foods, Ridiculously Delicious Soups, 8 Cup Creamy Cheddar Broccoli Soup, 6.8-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Okay, I'm not going to go through the whole spiel like I did as to how I tried Cugino's on my review of their  Cugino's Gourmet Foods, Ridiculously Delicious Soups, 8 Cup Chicken Noodle Knockout Soup, 5.3-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) , you can check out my review on that item.This is a really good soup!! You add milk and water and wallah!! Instant cheddar Broccoli Soup. HOWEVER, if you're like me and you love broccoli, I would honestly suggest you add some more. It's light with the broccoli pieces, which if you're like my HUBBY he was very happy with the way it is without adding anymore (not a broccoli person at all but he even liked this soup!!). I also tossed in a little more cheddar cheese after I fixed this and YUMMERS!! It was pretty darn good.Give it a try, You'll enjoy it!! With a little additional it becomes a 5-Star!!

Of course nothing beats homemade (although my attempt at a homemade cream of broccoli wasn't as good as store bought in my opinion, I can't do a good cream soup :|). However, this is a pretty good example of a great soup mix. It's got a nice flavor, but of course it's a nice idea to add a few extra ingredients - shred in some sharp cheddar and cut up some fresh broccoli, maybe add some corn in too. They stopped selling these at the store I shop at so I'm glad to see them up here!

Just tried this soup today, had oral surgery and can't chew a thing. It is really good and I didn't even think to add anything, I might next time though. I would have given it 5 stars I was expecting it to be more of an 'instant' soup.

This is the second soup we have tried, the other being the Chicken Enchilada which does not have as much sodium. This has 790mg per cup. The calories are fine. The daily allotment for many people is only 1500mg and at most 2400mg. Although we like the taste, we will not be buying it again. There are others that can be purchased with less sodium.

I love this soup but it needs a few things added to make it great. I use fresh veggies and some extra sharp cheese to the soup. My kids love it and everyone thinks I have worked on it all day long!
