Great for whittling beginners
I got a set of whittling knives for Christmas and dueing lockdown decided to buy this product to test them out on. This wood is great for beginners who are just starting their whittling journey! Make sure you use sharpened knives only

Good Quality
Carved first piece from a 1" x 1" x 6" block that came in the set (see pic). Impressed with the quality of the Basswood. Sometimes can be a bit of a lucky draw with Basswood supplies but this seems to be of good quality. Holds detail well and no hard spots up to now.If the rest of the pieces are as good, then i'll be purchasing from them again.

Very good value
These block are well worth the money. A range of sizes. I sometimes cut the larger blocks in two, which gives you even more for your money. I'll definitely be gettin more.

Mix of sizes of soft wood for whittling etc.
Bought for my daughter and she is delighted. Good selection of wood quality and shames and sizes, good for beginners. Could be used for multiple of other purposes i guess too.

What can I say?
It looks, smells and feels like wood so as far as wood goes 5 stars.But it is a bit expensive for small bits of wood when you think about it.

Been using this product to learn how to carve wood and it's been amazing. Easy to work with, and smells nice.
