Works amazingly well and cleans up nicely
I read the other reviews and thought to myself, "yeah, I'm sure it does the job reasonably well, but how much better can it be than just doing it manually?" The answer is A LOT. This little device works wonders and does it quickly and cleanly. I wasn't ever big on cleaning my bike chain because it is so dirty and messy, but this contraption makes it all a lot faster, easier and does a better job. I didn't use their biodegradable solution (for $10) and instead used what degreasing agents I had on hand to use in the scrubber - in my case "That Purple Stuff" with a few drops of Dawn blue dishwashing liquid). Man, I cranked the chain through this solution in the scrubber a few times and the chain came out sparkling clean. It would be helpful to have a something to hold my bike upright while I backpedaled the chain through the chain scrubber, but I made due without (although my chain did come off a few times in the process). Wear disposable gloves if you have them, as your hands will get covered in grime as you do this, but overall a pretty easy process that I might do more than once every 10 years from here on out :-).

Great tool
This thing is a god send. Clean and easy way to make sure your drivetrain is maintained. I usually use a mix of simple green, totally awesome and a little dawn dish soap. It keeps my chains looking mint! Hard to go wrong with Blue PT.

Makes cleaning chain quick and easy on all my bikes. Handle swaps for e bikes. I use orange degreaser from dollar store.

Works better than expected!
I've been suspicious of how well these work for years, but honestly it's better than I could have imagined. My drivetrains are all very shiny now and I'm able to do the cleaning without feeling like my hands are getting too dirty.

A better way of cleaning bike chains
I highly recommend this for anyone who has ever manually cleaned a bike chain. This little tool is better, faster, and avoid the mess that would be created with a soapy rag and brush.
