Telebrands Stone Wave Microwave Cooker

Great way to cook eggs in the microwave! Not made of plastic!

I was skeptical of this because I wanted to cook something in the microwave that’s usually pretty hard - eggs. With this cooker my first attempt was literally delicious. I got the two pack, so in one cooker I heated my ingredients (some vegetables and cheese) and in the other cooker I cooked the eggs. It worked extremely well - the eggs were evenly, thoroughly cooked, but still tender. The vegetables were tasty and the cheese was melted. I put them together for a nice “open face omlet”. This first dish was great, and I look forward to the next ones. I have tried eggs in the microwave before, with much less success. I think the features of this cooker that matter are 1) the stoneware itself and how it heats evenly, 2) the lid, which helps radiate heat from above while venting steam, and 3) the convenience of the handle that doesn’t get hot. This literally makes a properly cooked omlet in a pan with little effort. Definitely what I was looking for. I’ve also seen recipes for cobblers, corn bread, soups, etc. I’m really looking forward to those too, but this cooker passed my first test surprisingly well - the omlet.

I absolutely love the Stone Wave Cooker. Have had mind for at least 3 years, and have purchased several times for gifts. Did the same recently, and two people are VERY happy they now own one. This is the BEST for omelets ... I just scramble 3 eggs directly in the cooker, and load it up with veggies, cheese, and more. Perfect every single time. So fast and easy ... I use mine almost every single day! BTW, received the package a day early, and the price is a REAL bargain for two units! A MUST for every family out there!

One of my coworkers told me about this and convinced me to purchase one. I work in an office environment with easy access to a refrigerator and a microwave. I've microwaved eggs before in just a bowl with a small plate cover it, but I always have to do some finagling to cook the eggs the way I like them. With this cheap and budget friendly piece of ceramic, I can just toss in 3-4 eggs, then microwave it to perfection. Just imagine, scrambled eggs or even omelets cooked and ready in a couple of minutes. Now I can just leave a dozen or so of eggs in the fridge at work and make a quick breakfast every morning. There is one unfortunate downside though. The pot is tough to clean. If you have a tough sponge with a 'hard' side, then cleaning it is simple. Otherwise, the Stone Wave does what it says and for the price? It's worth buying the package with 2, if you're often at work and home. I highly recommend the product, especially if you need to cut time on making quick meals like omelets and just plain old eggs!

Cooks quickly and evenly. I have only tried a couple of the included recipes so far (the omelette and honey glazed carrots), but they have turned out perfectly. I have a fairly high wattage microwave and usually have to go with lower amounts of time than package suggestions, but for the included recipes I have found the times to be exactly the right cooking times.
