This textbook is dense. So much information is packed into each page. Some times the layout/organization of information seems to jump around a bit in an illogical way. It's just a textbook, ultimately.

This was purchased for a music class and was just exactly what was needed. Much better price than the bookstore.

This was a gift for my grandson. He was pleased to receive it.

This book has a removable code located inside the cover which gives the user access to the online music resources as well as the quizzes and extra activities that go with the book. This book was missing the access code so was useless to my class. Had to pay an extra $50 to subscribe to the access for the semester. Buyer Beware!

Arrived as expected. Needed this for school.

Great introduction to ethnomusicology. Large variety of case studies and listening material.
