Bulk Himalayan Pink Salt, 500 g

Great stuff for cooking. Lovely taste, colour. No idea on the healty benefits. Its not fine, so will dissolve slower. Granule size is as described and expected. Would be nice if they release a fine ground version, I assume this type is best for storage though with less risk of clumping! Also no additives like your usual fine cooking salt, so worth it. Useful for if you want a change from normal salt, or want to boost your sodium levels through a higher salt intake for some reason such as a deficiency or to treat mild low blood pressure. I wouldnt recommend this for use as electrolytes alone, as its still very sodium heavy. If you buy salt for hydration or electrolyte purposes, id recommend using unflavoured electrolyte powder instead. Which, instead of being mainly sodium chloride type salt, has a combination of magnesium, sodium, etc in an ideal ratio. So your blood pressure wont be harmed by the excess sodium. But, if you're just using this as a normal salt for cooking / eating, this is perfect, great value and exactly what you need if you dont want to, or can't grind your own himilayan salt! Tldr / summary: Great product, great value, highly recommended! 10/10. Just dont use it for boosting electrolytes if you don't have a sodium deficiency or dont wish to increase bp - opting for unflavoured electrolyte powder is the better option, as they are more balanced and won't increase BP like salt does when taken regularly (the potassium & other minerals balance things out, and counteracts the potentially harmful raised bp from high salt intake). 🚨 BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, or if your doctor has asked you to limit your sodium intake! Himilayan salt is just as harmful to people with high blood pressure as normal salt. Please remember, if you're trying to cut salt/sodium due to an instruction from a doctor, or have high blood pressure, BE AWARE: himilayan salt is NOT low sodium and is NOT a healthy version of salt! It increases BP when taken in excess, just like normal salt! If you have high blood pressure, you should be avoiding or cutting down on ALL high sodium salts, including himilayan (pink) salt, table salt, cooking salt, garlic/onion salt, sea salt, etc. It is a common myth, especially with the elderly that himilayan salt is healthier or significantly lower sodium content than normal salt, which is unsafe and untrue! If you need a salt replacement that will not raise your BP when taken regularly, look for LOW SODIUM SALT instead. Amazon sells it for cheap. These contain potassium salts, usually "Potassium chloride" instead of regular sodium chloride, and is much better for your heart and blood pressure. Tastes just as good, or even exactly the same as normal salt when mixed in a 1:1 ratio, and because its potassium based instead of sodium, it won't raise your blood pressure! It can actually lower it. Fantastic stuff, but should not be taken in excess either.

Good salt, great taste and good price, goes a bit damp and lumpy if left in bag, I put it in a glass container with airtight lid and it’s been perfect.

I love cooking with Himalayan salt and the pink one is by far the nicest; the flavour of your food is totally enhanced by it; it's healthier for you than common table salt because it contains essential minerals that the body needs; buying in bulk does save money, and less plastic for the enviroment!

Very good quality Himalayan pink fine salt. It’s smooth, easy to sprinkle, and dissolves well in cooking. The flavour is clean and balanced, and it’s perfect for everyday use at the table or in recipes. Feels like a more natural option, and I’m very happy with it. Would buy again.

J’ai acheté ce sel rose de l’Himalaya Bulk un peu par curiosité, et franchement c’était une très bonne surprise 😊 J’avais eu une expérience plutôt moyenne avec d’autres produits de la marque Bulk, donc je ne m’attendais pas à ça. C’est le troisième produit Bulk que j’achète, et pour le coup celui-ci m’a vraiment convaincue. Le sel est de bonne qualité, avec une jolie couleur, et la texture est fine sans être trop poudreuse (ce que j’apprécie). Je le trouve très bien en cuisine, avec un bon rendu. Je l’utilise surtout pour cuisiner, mais aussi parfois dans de l’eau avec du citron le matin. Et honnêtement, je trouve que le goût dans l’eau est très différent du sel classique, plus agréable à mon goût. Niveau prix/qualité, je trouve ça vraiment très bien, donc je pense que je le rachèterai quand je n’en aurai plus 👍 Petit détail utile : la petite cuillère qu’on voit sur la vidéo vient d’autres produits Bulk que j’avais déjà achetés, elle n’est pas incluse avec ce sel. Ce serait super s’ils ajoutaient une petite cuillère doseuse, ce serait encore plus pratique. Au final, très bon produit, belle qualité, bon goût et excellent rapport qualité-prix ✅

I bought this because the price was good and I wanted an everyday pink salt for cooking. It tastes great and does the job well. The only thing to note is that it’s a bit finer than I expected, so if you’re looking for a coarse/grinder-style salt, this may not be it. Otherwise, excellent value.

Es una sal excelente con el grano medio y no es una sal fina. Con muy poquito tienes uno platos bien enderezados.
