anyone know if they went back to the original recipe?

I read that McVitie's changed their recipe, but I don't know about a Van Delft recipe change. I just know they taste like the biscuits my great-grandmother would bring back from Rotterdam back in the '70s.

Geez why is the company shipping cookies that expired 4 months ago! I am from the Netherlands and this cookie has always been a family favorite. Don’t buy this old stock.

Delicious

I first discovered these while living and working in Paris in 1992. These are delicious. Nice to be able to get them through Amazon. My order arrived fresh and not broken. They taste just like I remember. These are great with a cup of coffee or just by themselves.

I agree with others - new packaging and new flavor... bummer! Got it because I grew up with these but they are definitely not the same taste. First few batches I ordered last year were exactly like I remembered, look and taste ... too bad the ingredients have changed to make a different flavor and a MUCH thinner cookie than the tried and true of yesterday's.
