A: The 7023811 includes a microbiological water filter to remove waterborne pathogens. The 7023812 is made for the same Sub-Zero units, but it does not eliminate waterborne pathogens.  I confirmed this with Sub-Zero Customer Service a while back.

**Q: Is this compatible with kenmore 9030 refrigerator?**
A: No idea. I have a sub-Zero refrigerator and that’s what the replacement filter is. Perhaps Kenmore has a site with replacement parts
