Easy set up and great quality. Better than expected.
I am new to podcast equipment and reviewed multiple microphones for weeks for many different price points. I ended up getting this one and I couldn’t be happier. It was so easy to set up and use. The price was reasonable and had everything I needed and then some.My first recording my dog was in the room barking and running around. The recording had Zero background noise but my audio was on point. Beyond my expectations. I’ve heard many professional podcasters with less quality.

High end mic
The mic itself is very good and feels really high end. I went with this instead of anything that was "gamer" branded and I am happy with the decision. Have been using it for a few years and still looks and performs like brand new. The only thing I did not like is the boom arm, the base is plastic and after a while it becomes very loose and moves freely, does not feel like as secure and is flimsy.

The best budget mic
There is a reason every list of budget microphones has this at the top, it's just flawless. The sound quality is top notch, and build quality is spot on. It has the classic microphone shape, which makes it work in your hand, on a stand, or on your desk. With USB and XLR output it allows you to connect to your PC right away, or upgrade your setup with a mixer later using the XLR output.This package includes a stand, pop filter, and suspension system for the mic. For the money, they're nice. I will say the springs on the stand do make a little noise if you move it abruptly, so it'd keep it still while recording, but it's sturdy, and has a wide range of movement. The pop filter I've found isn't needed as the Samson Q2U includes a foam cover that works pretty well. It's nice the pop filter is included though.

Podcast upgrade
I’ve seen a few videos where this mic was recommended. I’m glad I purchased it. It works well and it very sturdy. I like the light indicator on there if there’s unusual noise that interferes with the feedback of the microphone. This is a great starter microphone for YouTubing or Podcasting.Get it

Good Mic and decent enough stand.
The Samson q2u sounds great. The Dynamic mic works for my use case which is pretty much all voice. I want it to cancel out the noise of my keyboard while gaming and working which it does an awesome job of - only picks up audio right in front.People complain about the stand/'arm being cheap but this combo is not much more expensive than the mic itself. The stand is fine. Pop filter is a giant heavy POS though. No need to use it with the foam cover anyway. I can easily recommend the combo. Feel free to hunt for a slightly more robust stand if you want but this one gets the job done easily.

Great value. Works well for me
I am in the manufacturing business, so I was pretty careful as I checked out the various boom arms. I knew I wanted the Q2U Mic. It is the best in it's price range. The arm I received was a KnoxGear arm. It is lightweight, but well designed. I use mine for a weekly podcast and also for just about all my zoom meetings now too.The clamp system for the arm is good. The base allows me to pivot the arm easily. This was a good buy and, knowing what I know now, I would buy it again.

perfected version of the first combo i boguht. the swivel base is plastic and holds up much better. perfect product with over a year of use
