Excellent for vlogging and other things
I'm actually shocked how useful this is. I bought it for holding a vlogging camera out far enough to get decent framing on myself, but I think I'll be using it for more than just that. Was initially worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough for my Canon SX60, but it holds it without trouble. Even fully extended I can get good, stable shots with what is a fairly large camera for the purpose. My forearms do get a bit of a workout. The grip is large and well textured with a rubberized feeling; it's great. The tripod legs are not incredibly stable (especially if you extend the tubes up high), but can be used if you're careful and smart about where you set it up. The extension is long enough to get good "self shot" framing even at a 28mm equivalent focal length. The stick is compatible with any GoPro style accessories, but also just 1/4-20 if you want to put something else on.In addition to vlogging, I also do practical shooting competitions. I think this grip will replace the c-shaped grip I've been using for the 3rd person camera I use to record those matches. It's more comfortable and versatile to hold, and packs down smaller.Other reviews mentioned that it felt plasticky and cheap, or that they had trouble locking/unlocking the sections of the extension tube. My experience has been that build quality feels quite good, and I haven't yet had any problems extending or collapsing it.At this point the only thing I can think that could go wrong is if it ends up breaking prematurely. If that happens I'll come back and update the review, but I'm really happy with this thing.FYI, this is an entirely unsolicited review. I found and purchased the item for full price all on my own and was not compensated in any way or contacted by the company. I'm just genuinely happy with my purchase and feel good recommending it so far.

I love it
I always wanted to get a selfie stick and tripod. Glad I got this one. Instruction is super easy. It comes with everything I needed. You can slip your phone in the phone mount and record on your phone. Or connect your camera or go pro to the camera screw. Put it up as a tripod or hold it out to shoot selfie and vlog. You can move the top up and down. To shoot things in front of you, you can point your camera down 180 degrees. The tripod base opens up as a tripod. The lower section is about 13 inches. You get really nice grip on the base. Set it up as tripod is fast. You get a really good length when you slide out all 3 sections, can extend to about 30 inches tall. Collapse it to put in your bag. Versatile, light weight. Gonna get tons of use out of it. All in all, I really enjoy it. It works well with my point and shoot, go pro and phone. This selfie stick will last. So many little features for $30. I really love it. Cool thing to have for selfie, video and vlog shooting. If you wanna pick one up, this is it.

Piensalo bien

Excellent Selfie Stick for 360
Those who say this item is plastic and cheap must be reporting on something else. This selfie stick is made of metal and silicone non-slip and works perfectly, like it should. The length (28" plus) is just right for holding for 360 walking "invisible" photos and videos, and the tripod is held closed by small magnets but is easily opened. The individual sections of the stick can be left locked or clicked open easily and locked with a quick twist. I find this item perfect for my photo needs with small action and 360 cameras like the Gopro Max. Although the item title does not mention the Max, the mount is compact and does not protrude into the image so it works perfectly with the Max.

Don't waste money on the branded stuff, this works great
This product works great with the GoPro MAX. Additionally, it's 6 inches longer than the branded one. It seems to be made exactly the same from all of the reviews I've read.I was going to buy the branded one from the branded company, but Aileen in GoPro's Customer Service was very unhelpful and led me to not want to purchase anything else from their company. They make some decent cameras, but there's no reason to waste your money on the majority of the accessories. I'll still trust their branded mounts for high-risk items (helmet mount, mounting to a car, etc), but for low-impact uses like this product it's perfect.P.S. I can't find anything low-quality about this. I will note that it's not the most stable on the tripod legs, but I can't compare that to the branded one. I can say that I was able to leave it on the tripod while sailing (the boat heeled over) and it did just fine, so it's more than sufficient! Feels very good in the hand.

Came missing cell phone attachment and lanyard. Otherwise, seems to be decent.
The actual monopod/tripod is very similar to the GoPro model and seems to work as intended. The package did not include the cellphone attachment or lanyard.

Cheaper and better the GoPro selfie stick
This stick is awesome. I took it to my trip to Puerto Rico and it performs very well in the beach and in the pool. I definitely recommend it if you want to save some money of buying GoPro Selfie stick. Very strong
