Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season Two Declassified
The inspiration for this show was the popularity of the character Agent Phil Coulson from the MCU Phase 1 and the massive “Coulson Lives” campaign, as well as the Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode “The Zeppo”. In that episode of Buffy we see how “B” characters without any kind of powers can be just as heroic, if not more so than the “A” characters and plot. In a nutshell that’s exactly what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is. AoS is a bunch of characters without any kind of powers like Thor or Hulk or Captain America, who have to use their training and bravery to get out of tight spots, fight Kree or flat out save the world from HYDRA. Since Joss Whedon created both Buffy and Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D., we are treated to an ensemble cast of characters with witty banter that work together as a team to stop the next big bad. People had some issues with the first season of AoS, but Season 2 seemed to correct the course of the show. And just as Season 2 was better than Season 1, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Declassified is even better than the first book.We get a great introduction from Agent Phil Coulson himself, Clark Gregg that recaps his journey and arc through the last 2 seasons. There are tons of glossy photos and splash pages, lots of in-depth interviews with cast and crew. I really enjoy the episode recaps because you get a really deeper look into the episode itself and some of the easter eggs that tie into Marvel Comics you may have missed, as well as how some of the bigger aspects of the episodes were accomplished. Great sections dedicated to conceptual art, costume design, prosthetic make-up and cgi effects, character breakdowns, tie ins to Avengers: Age of Ultron and a deeper look into the Inhumans that will be taking center stage in Season 3. Just like the Season 1 Declassified book, you get to see how many talented people it takes to make a show, how much love and effort and time goes into every aspect of making AoS, a lot of things that most people probably don’t even think about. It’s pretty amazing to see how so many peoples hard work pays off so well on the small screen. Any fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or the Art of Marvel books is really going to enjoy this. The slipcase and book itself are quality and nice, and the content inside really adds a nice layer to Season 2 that makes me appreciate it even more. This show is just really fun, all dramatic moments aside. Characters like Coulson, Fitz and Simmons, and now Morse and Mack have helped elevate season 2 to a whole new level. This book comes FULLY APPROVED.

Factual errors but nice quality
I'm enjoying this book, but am very surprised at all the errors in it. Fans will notice the inaccuracies. I would buy it again because I have the whole set and it is a very nice quality book. You just have to be forgiving of the editor not knowing the episodes as well as you do. Somewhat disappointed.

A must-have for fans of the show. As someone who is very interested in the behind the scenes workings of a show, this book is a joy, with plenty of behind the scenes photos and insight into things like characters, costumes, special effects, production design, etc. I absolutely love it.

Fun book for fans
This show doesn't get enough recognition for how good it has become. Visual effects alone are outstanding. Give the show a chance. It's amazing. This book is a fantastic, albeit light look at the show, much like the other books published by Marvel.

Oh the Inhumanity of it all!
The media could not be loaded. Detailed descriptions of the episodes from Season 2, character profiles for the newcomers and behind the scenes details on some of the props, costumes, music and contributions from other departments.Marvel is doing a great job with these books.Definitely worth a purchase.

An excellent follow up to the Season One book
An excellent follow up to the Season One book. Like the first one this has lots of large illustrations and behind the scenes photos but this one goes far deeper. I can't recommend this highly enough. Roll on Agents of SHIELD Season Three.
