Sound quality is not the best but you get a lot of songs that you will remember and love. Comes in a three disk set that is inclosed in a paper cover.

My dad got me interested in Brenda Lee years ago. Unfortunately I only had it on cassette form and it was damaged from excess playing. I have tried for years to find a copy on cd but was informed it had been obseleted. I was thrilled when I went on Amazon and found I could buy it. Thank you so much to them and the seller. Got this in record time and have never had it off my car stereo. You've made me so happy and would definately use this seller again.

I had this album on vinyl wore it out then got it on cassette wore that one then got in in CD wore that out too so had to get another CD. If you like the best of the old country and western music this a must have. Great music.

I love to hear Brenda sing she's one of a kind, I have bought two of these cd's over the years.

The good news: all original recordings (75 in total), many of which are fairly obscure on CD. The bad news: these songs were not mastered from original "tapes" but were instead mastered from original vinyl records. And not pristine vinyl copies. Because of this, many (if not most) songs on this three disc set are presented in marginal fidelity at best. Many songs are ruined due to the poor vinyl copies clipping of any high tones. There's a scratchy, hissing presence throughout most songs that really takes away from the material. Still, I give it three stars based on the talent of Brenda and her musicians. Minus the poor mastering and fidelity, this is probably a five star CD set.

Have the original 2-record set ordered the CD for Car most of all her main hits 22 songs. Highly recommend to her fans.

Brenda Lee is a big stack of dynamite packed in a tiny frame. This CD contains just about all her soulful/country hits and a few less well-known numbers. About the only big hit missing is "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree," which definately belongs on the disc. Still, this CD will take you back to the early days, invoking memories along the way. Enjoy!
