Professional butcher block cutting board 24 x 18 inch extra large thick wooden double sided end-grain chopping board

I was very much surprised! This butcher block looks even better in real. Marvelous pattern, sleek design! Now it’s the most beautiful thing in my kitchen :) It is heavy and stable, easy to use and clean. It is reasonably priced comparing to the competitors.I hope this end grain cutting board will serve me as good as it looks and last for a long time.

I'd give the craftsmanship a 5 if it were absolutely perfect, but the slight imperfections are minor and after a few months of chopping won't be visible.I found cutting boards made with a darker, end-grain wood for 3x the price in this size ($600). So I decided to take a chance on this one. It is gorgeous. Well made and will last forever, if we keep it oiled. Out last one lasted 20-years, but I accidentally left it over a baking pan full of water and went on a two-week vacation. Learned that lesson!NOW THE PROBLEM: What to do with the beautiful box the factory made to ship this cutting board in? It is a high quality plywood and I needed a screw gun to get the cutting board out. The box simply screams, I was made by folks who love to make cutting boards. I posted a photo of the wooden box as it was delivered.This was a great value and I will be buying a 2nd one (smaller) for our pantry today.

This cutting board is one of the most beautiful items in my kitchen--I love the unique end grain patterns. The lovely natural wood adds a warm touch to the kitchen. It is also a very practical addition to my kitchen--the large surface accommodates chopping food for family-size recipes--and we have a large family! I always feel safer using a cutting board that doesn't make me feel crowded when working. The size and weight of the board provide a very sturdy work area. In addition, this type of surface should be kinder to my knives than my previous cutting board--I like to keep my favorite knives in good shape. Overall, I really appreciate the beauty and usefulness of this cutting board, as well as the quality craftsmanship.

I used to have a larger butcher block, it was very nice, but this one is so much better!It's so handy and fits everywhere (unlike my previous too large one).This one is also super-smooth, I love how beautiful it looks when I treat it with the special butter (comes together with the butcher block, thanks!).I took one "Knife skills" class couple years ago and this is my main takeaway: buy a nice butcher block, chef's knife and your boring task of chopping food might become something you actually enjoy. I also recommend getting a simple plastic scrapper (like $4 on amazon) - use it to collect all the chopped stuff from the butcher block easily without lifting it. It's also helpful to clean the board from vegetable peels.Enjoy!

Butcher block cutting board use. Nothing extraordinary. Never got wet. Cut vegetables on it. It warped and started cracking within a week.

Unfortunately, while this seems like a very beautifully made butcher block at a decent price, it does not lie flat/flush to the counter and rocks back and forth. I tested it on a few surfaces in case it was my counter and nope, it's the board. Bummed as it seems very nicely made otherwise. I will have to send it back and keep up the search.

My husband is from Uruguay over there they do big "parrilladas" every weekend. We needed a cutting board where we were going to be able to fit large amounts of meat on it. This board is generous on surface space, elegant and sturdy.Great way to present your dishes and doesn't matter how big your chopping needs are, you will be able to get it done here.

The butcher block is really amazing and beautiful. It has good smell of natural wood. I decided to try to buy one good end grain cutting board for my kitchen. This one wasn’t very expensive that's why I have bought it. The size is good for me but it’s heavier than I expected. The butcher block is very durable but it is not for hard chopping. I love my end grain cutting board, it really decorates my kitchen.
