At the Start of Ripley's 2nd Decade
The cartoons in this wonderful collection are from Ripley's second decade as the "Believe It or Not!" cartoonist. They start with his first drawings for William Randolph Hearst's (a/k/a Citizen Kane??) King Features Syndicate and extend through 1930. I enjoy the current RBION cartoons & books & the website, but it's good to have the work by Mrs. Ripley's son himself! Buy this book (from Amazon, of course!), and if you're no longer a young person yourself, ask a youngster to share it with you!

It is certainly worth having
Great history of what has possibly been the greatest, and longer lasting success in the American press. It is certainly worth having. Believe it or not is also a catch phrase of the greatest renown thanks to Robert Ripley, and the book is a superb example of good book manufacture..
