Blue Wave Martinique 21-Feet by 41-Feet Oval 52-Inch Deep 7-Inch Top Rail Metal Wall Swimming Pool Package

We bought this pool almost 3 years ago because it was on sale for half price. Took us a while to get to the instal. Overall, the pool is great quality. The instructions that came with it, however, were VERY lacking. I downloaded more detailed instructions off of the Blue Wave Products website, but they were for a different design pool even though they were for the same model and size. I’m not sure if in the three years since we bought it they changed designs or what, but I had to use a combination of the two to get it all assembled, as well as lean on AI for help answering questions the instructions did not cover. If they did change the design, I can see why. This pool had bracket-less side supports on the strait sides. At first, I thought this was a good thing. Even though I leveled and aligned the structure bases perfectly with laser levels, stink levels, and a lot of math, the supports relaxed different amounts leading to strait sides that are not strait at the tops. Luckily we will be building a deck that will cover up this eye sore. Also, the liner that shipped with the pool (pretty cheap liner) was of dimension that made it IMPOSSIBLE to install the liner as the instructions stated. It was 2 feet too short and 2 feet too wide. We had to let the water stretch the heck out of it on the round ends (which the instructions said not to do) and had to pull up a ton of slack on the strait sides. The hose for the vacuum is also 6 feet too short to vacuum the far end of the pool if you put the skimmer on one of the round ends like we did. The ladder is terrible. The instructions say to fill it with sand so it won’t float, and it has holes in it somewhere so the sand ends up in the bottom of the pool around the ladder. Of course, where we have the ladder temporarily installed, the vacuum hose won’t reach, so I have to use the old school “siphon” vacuum method to get the sand out of the pool. Luckily this crap ladder will be going to the dump as soon as we get the deck built.

The pools and the equipment are decent. The liner is very very thin.

Hoses cracked after less than a year of use. Ladder is flimsy. Install was okay despite less than stellar instructions. It’s the perfect size pool for our yard and the kids love it. One wall is slightly bowed after settling over the winter, but it’s still standing. Would’ve given a higher rating were it not for the low quality of the included accessories.
