Best for the price!
Coolest light saber lights and sound, the hilt is real metal and the blade is durable ! Gonna have some fun with this!

6 stars! Amazing. Just so B.A.
It's freaking awesome, especially for the price. Got one, now have to get one for everybody that's seen, heard or held it. Amazing quality in every sense. And I waited in line at toys r us for Darth mauls' saber back in the day. Still have it, but not as cool.... By a long shot. Get two. You need one for each hand, get four and have a party!

Decent quality and good pricing.
It's light weight, color is good, charges quickly, hilt feels good in the hand, and the sound options are a nice touch. Only issue is it says it flashes on clash and it doesn't you have to press the power button to get a minor flash. This being said for a 50 to 60 dollar lightsaber its durable and fun. I would recommend if you want a cheap but lightsaber to swing around and do play around dueling with. Flash on clash not working is a bummer but I would and probably will buy different colors.

Quality Lightsaber!
My 13 year old son saved his own money to buy this. He loves it. It has a good weight to it, not light weight and cheap. The metal handle and the plastic are good quality. The colors are bright and the sounds are clear. The shipping was a little quicker than was estimated especially coming from China and with DHL. The packaging was very secure with a hard cardboard tube and plenty of bubble wrap. He is very happy with his Lightsaber.

Caution! This yddsaber lightsaber will stop working within 60 days. Do NOT buy.
The media could not be loaded. I received this yddsaber lightsaber on Feb 23, 2020.It was actually taken out of the box mid March 2020. It has not been played with much and really no very rough lightsaber battles. It will not charge and it will not work as of May 23, 2020. I did not expect this yddsaber lightsaber to stop working this quick. This yddsaber lightsaber is a huge disappointment.I really got my doubts that it’ll be worth sending and getting repaired. It’s my loss and $108 wasted on junk. I’ll never buy another yddsaber lightsaber from yddsaber or anyone ever again. The FX lightsabers from Hasbro have lasted for years and are still working great and are a lot better than the yddsaber lightsaber.

Great quality at a low cost
Honestly very shocked at the quality of this saber. I’ve had a blast. My only con is that the movement sound is extremely sensitive, like I barely rotate the hilt and it whooshes. Not a big deal though. The blade is super bright, especially on blue or red. I have an ultra saber Stunt as well but I find myself twirling this YDD saber more.Overall So relieved at the outcome and I’m happy with this product

No volume control, blade modes or lighted button - you can do better, reach out with your wallet.
But a padawan learner only, I am, though here I will reach out with my opinions about this particular laser sword and compare it to the small number of other sabers I have owned over the years. I used to have a Master Replicas Force FX Darth Vader model which has a string of LEDs going down the blade to allow a simulated blade ignition and retraction. The tradeoff is that those are more fragile and not well suited to any dueling or hitting things other than remotes with your blast shield down. The blade did not come off but it looked great. From what I've read, the super-bright Makoto sabers are the pinnacle of that style of saber, Google it. These here are more like flashlights with sound that you plug a hollow tube into that catches the light in the blade. Seems like a more durable and simple design but it also makes it more difficult to make a very bright blade and keep it evenly lit. They use optics over the LED in the hilt to form a tight beam that shines down the blade. There are many other brands of better sabers you can spend $$$ on but it's still just a fancy flashlight with sound. The YDD feels good in the hand, well balanced overall but it's smaller than what I expected, more suitable for a child even though it says it's for adults in the description. It's about the same size as the Kybers Basic Series I just ordered for the kids' Christmas. This YDD model features many different colors (RGB) to choose from which is nice but some of them are a bit washed out looking, the solid blue, red and green are nice and bright and purple is good as well, as long as you're in a darkened space. The Kybers Basics I got for the kids are only one color but they seem brighter. It's nice they include 3 sound fonts +mute but 1 of them is ridiculous and makes wooshing sounds like you would with your mouth. So there's really just 2 fonts you'd want to use and they both have a low-quality recording that loops frequently and you can hear when it repeats, pretty annoying. At this price I expected more.No volume controlNo light up button and it's too easy to press by mistakeNo other blade modes (pulsating, flashing, etc.)Slight delay when activating the blaster soundCompared to the Kybers basic series I think the YDD falls short. Kybers Basics were cheaper, have a similar build quality, better sound, pulsating blade effects, volume control, a lit button, no delayed reaction, a handle wrap included and a better looking blade tip, not to mention the packaging is superior. They're both made in China and the instruction manuals are so similar I wouldn't be surprised if these are made by the same company and just branded differently.I put mine on the bench grinder with a wire wheel to knock off the sharp edges on the hilt and give it more of a weathered look. I think wrapping the handle with leather of some sort may be the way to go.I hope this helps someone avoid the short and easy path. Complete your training, choose the right saber and may the force be with you!
