Aktfotografie ist für mich eng mit der Porträtfotografie, überhaupt mit der Persönlichkeit des Menschen verbunden. Sie bedeutet menschliche Schönheit, Sinnlichkeit und Kraft , meinte Norbert Vogel einmal über sein Schaffen. Ähnliches gilt für die Arbeiten seiner Partnerin Heidi Vogel-Hennig, bei der die Bekanntschaft mit Fotomodellen die Lust weckte, auf diesem Gebiet der Fotografie tätig zu werden. Mal klisch-ästhetisch, mal stilvoll inmitten einer Landschaft, mal extravagant inszeniert mit den Mitteln der Fotomontage in ihrem aktfotografischen Werk spüren Heidi Vogel-Hennig und Norbert Vogel einer vergangenen Zeit nach, als der nackte weibliche Körper einen ursprünglichen Charme entfaltete und dadurch ungezwungenes Selbstbewusstsein ausstrahlte. Le nu vu de l'Est
J'ai déjà écrit à propos du livre de Gerd Rattei, dans la même collection, mon "faible" pour les nus "DDR-gemacht". Ils ont une facture bien à eux, très "culte du corps" en vogue dans les régimes totalitaires du 20ème siècle, mais je leur trouve un côté "hyper" classique qui n'est pas déplaisant. Bien sûr, on ne doit pas les comparer avec ceux de Weston, d'Alvarez Bravo ou de Clergue, mais ils ont un charme indéniable. De plus, le livre est de bonne qualité, les clichés sont bien tirés et bien imprimés, et il reste d'un prix modéré. Pas de mal à se faire plaisir, si vous aimez la photo noir et blanc.

German act photography at its best
This is a small book with beautiful pictures. The photos are different from the glamor western, pirelli style sets. More nature, more playing with lights and models. Like sculpture.
