21001906 Washer Replacement Drain Water Pump
I just installed this Washer Pump today after receiving it 2 days ago. Its a easy job if you have tools and are mechanically inclined I would have to say. It solved the problem in our older Maytag Performa Washing Machine. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original Washer Pump that lasted my family close to 15 years. We are actually dreading having to purchase a new washing machine some day for all the complaints we hear about them that they are not made like the older Washing Machines like our Maytag Performa. Amazon has been the first place that I look for Parts for both our Maytag Washer Machine and Dryer and hasn't disappointed me at all. They usually have what I need. Our dryer is the same age as our Washing Machine.

Noisy at first......ok later
The media could not be loaded. So when I took it out of the box and turned the pulley, it sounded like it was scraping when it was turning.I decided to install it anyway and sure enough, it was very noisy. Making a loud ticking sound.I kept testing it to make sure of no water leaks, so I ran more washes. Strangely enough, I noticed that it wasn't as noisy. I decided to keep it and by the 6 or 7th wash, the noise was just about gone.So a gave it 4 stars because anyone else would have returned it for being noisy out of the box.But so far, its working fine.

Don't buy this one it's junk lasted for two loads then started leaking water.
