It shows how goals and indicators can be used by students as well as teachers. It describes with examples how balanced (formative + summative) assessment can be used to promote achievement of important learning goals. It is a valuable resource for schools in which the educators and teams are pursuing W. Edward Deming's quality management in classrooms. I thought that this could help my children to work with SMART goals, but the book is for teachers and educators. I gave it to my child's classroom teacher, and she was excited, hopefully she'll be able to use it. The information provided in the book won't help parents.

Excellent overview of SMART goals and templates for teams and the development of goals in PLC teams. Simply a must have for school administrators.

this book helps you to get to grips with target setting and how to use SMART targets to help children progress. helped with my assignments in second year at uni as it gives evidence and reason as to why SMART targets should be used.
