Potentially dangerous
It sounded like a good way of spending CV-19 lockdown, converting empty glass bottles into glasses, vases, etc... so I gave it a try.It seemed to be fairly well made, but the instructions were sparse to say the least. I gave it a try anyway on an empty 75ml wine bottle. It was a bit wobbly in operation and my score line didn't meet first time around (it was a fraction of a mm out). So I scored it again, deeper this time. I then poured boiling water straight from the kettle on the bottle for almost a minute, followed by a steady trickle from the cold tank over tha sink. The result was a loud explosion and flying glass across the kitchen. In retrospect I guess it was because I had left the screw top on the bottle and the hot water had built up pressure inside. My stupidity, I know, but I'm not a physicist and there was no warning of this danger on the product.Luckily I wasn't injured, but I still have not found one shard of flying glass. I have to admit I was a little shaken: I could see it would have been easy to have been hit in the eye by flying glass. In the circumstances, I decided to bring a premature close to my new hobby and return the item - but not before warning others of the potential hazard. I'm no great fan of Health & Safety excesses or the Nanny State, etc, etc, but this really does need a hazard warning, in my opinion. If you try it, do so with care -- don't leave any stoppers on the bottle and wear eye goggles, just in case. And I hope you have a better experience than me.

Score it a couple of times and hold the bottle still!
Easy to use glass cutter is great for creating DIY candles from old bottles! It creates a clean score line and depending on the bottle, breaks off pretty cleanly when run under hot / cold water. I use it to create my Bougie Candle Company candles.

Doesn't work for very long unfortunately
Used it on the day I got it and it cut 2 bottles perfectly. Everything else after that, the cutting wheel doesn't score it enough, no matter how many times I turn the bottle against the scoring wheel and the bottles don't break cleanly. Waste of time.

Doesnβt work properly!
Not great quality. As yet not managed to cut one bottle without it cracking. Instructions are almost non existent and have definitely been written by someone who is not a native English speaker...

I baught two different bottle cutters but this one didnt work and wasnt really eady to use. Also i think mine came without a rubber stopper to steady the bottle. However the gloves and sandpaper worked a treat
