Charging brightly - great customer service with any issue
What an unexpected joy. I gave this product a second chance and I am glad that I did.A few months ago I bought this product and had issues with the display not always lighting up. I wrote an Amazon review about that experience having been disappointed. Since then, unexpectedly, the company reached out to me to try the product again.I have been using it for about a month and the new unit is working very well. The display is bright and stable and I now enjoy the key feature of the ability to see the charging status of each battery independently. This unit also comes with both USB charging options and they have been working well. I am confident that if I left this to charge overnight there would be no issues. The input for the charger is 2A and so care needs to be taken to only connect your USB cable to exactly this. Finally, I have to commend the retailers. They asked me to try this again and clearly believe in their product and reputation. It is unusual to find a retailer who values customer satisfaction and I would encourage anyone looking for their products to consider them. I have been impressed and I know that if I have any issues in the future they would be supportive - thank you!

Good value worth the money.
This is a good battery charger. With individual charging you can charge any size or capacity - or even if its half charged or totally flat. I've been averaging 6 to 7 hours to charge from flat. 4 hours and above from half charged. It depends on the batteries capacity. You need a 5 volt 2 amp power adapter. I found that it works very well and far better than a cheep charge all at the same time. After charging for the second time using this charger the batteries work better. That's because it makes sure they charged correctly to get the best out of each cell.If it rejects a battery you can still charge it using a cheep charger but its not worth it. I find any battery it wont charge is genuinely past its usable life. It can be a bit fiddley inserting C or D cell batteries. And if you fill all the spaces getting the middle ones out once they have charged is a bit fiddly. But all in all I have found this to be the best charger I have ever brought. 8 battery capacity or 4 if you use C or D cells. If I hade to be picky its the charging display. From the side and top and looking directly over it you can see the readout. But looking from the spring clip end the readout is very faint. That's because LCD displays are directional. Would I buy another one. You bet. It is for me the bet charger I have had.

Worth it for the price!
One of the standout features of this charger is its versatility. It can handle AAA, C, and D rechargeable batteries, which is a huge plus for those of us who use various battery sizes in our household gadgets. This flexibility alone makes it a valuable addition to my charging arsenal. In terms of functionality, it performs admirably. Charging times are reasonable, and I've experienced no issues with overcharging or overheating during the charging process. It's a straightforward plug-and-play device that doesn't require a steep learning curve, making it user-friendly for tech novices and experts alike. However, it's worth noting that the build quality of this charger is predominantly plastic, which might be a point of concern for some users. While it doesn't exude the same premium feel as some higher-end chargers with metal components, it's important to remember that this charger comes at an affordable price point. In this regard, the plastic construction is forgivable and shouldn't detract from its overall functionality. In conclusion, the AAA/C/D Battery Charger for Rechargeable Batteries is a reliable and efficient solution for keeping your rechargeable batteries juiced up. Its versatility and performance outweigh the fact that it's primarily constructed from plastic, especially when you consider its budget-friendly price tag. If you're in need of a no-nonsense battery charger that gets the job done without breaking the bank, this one is certainly worth considering.

Great Quality and value.
Certainly charges D batteries well, four in one go was needed and it provided. At first one battery showed error but soon reinserted correctly than leaving it to do it's business. They were 10000m capacity but not sure how long they took , though more than 10 hrs, but morning showed as described fully charged. Looks and feels great quality and certainly value at around ยฃ16. Not tried AA or triple A or C but reckon it will do so no problem. Therefore can highly recommend. P.s my batteries are all EBL and not had any problems in smaller chargers in the past .

Really neat little battery charger suitable for most types of batteries
As we've almost entirely replaced all alcaline batteries in our house, our dependency on rechargeable batteries has increased vastly. I already have an EBL charger which plug into the mains but I wanted another charger and thought I would give this USB-powered variant a try.In the box you get:The charging unit, which is capable of charging up to 8 batteries (AAA and AA, C and D). The actual number of batteries you can charge depends upon the physical size of the battery so you will fit 8 AAA or AA cells, four C or four D cells (or a combination thereof). An instruction leaflet which covers the basic operation of the unit clearly and concisely (although it's pretty easy to use anyway, it's always worth a read of the instructions to make sure you haven't missed anything).A short USB-A to Micro-USB which will suite sockets which are close to a surface (those close to a floor or above a kitchen counter etc.)A "Thank You" card from EBL.The charger itself is very compact and lightweight, the LCD displays are clear to read (not obvious in my photos as there was a light source above the camera which washed out the image a bit) and the ability to charge using either Micro USB or USB-C (not both!) is handy now that USB-C is becoming more uniquitous.I loaded the charger with 8 brand new Amazon Basics 2400mah batteries and plugged the charger into a 2A USB output. The charging indicators immediately began to show the charging status and after an hour or so, the unit had entered "maintenance mode" to keep the batteries topped up without stressing them out too much - this is EBL's "Intelligent Battery Detection Technology" which should stress the batteries less and extend their life.Very happy with the charger, especially as I can just plug it in to basically any USB output and charge batteries on the go.

Good Universal Battery Charger
1st Review. Compared to my 2 old chargers this EBL charger is more fiddly loading the batteries and making sure the contact points are in the correct positions. I recharged some of my old AA batteries with no problems and it was quite fast doing it so I was impressed. I then decided to recharge all my old AAA batteries and it wouldn't do it and displayed an "error" message. I tried charging some more old AA batteries but it also refused to charge them with the same error message. I tried topping up 16 brand new AA batteries and it did this with no problems. My 2 old chargers accepted all the old AA and AAA batteries and charged them all with no problems.2nd Review. The Seller has been excellent and really helpful - they read my 1st review, contacted me and sent me a free replacement charger which unfortunately gave the same problems as described above, HOWEVER I must stress that it wasn't the sellers battery chargers that were at fault. I've since done lots of tests on the 20 AA and AAA batteries and and established that they are all damaged. Over the years they must have been damaged by my 2 previous old battery chargers. The Seller and I have emailed each other numerous times over the problems and tests I was doing. I cannot praise them highly enough so I've just changed my 1st review and given them a star rating of 5.
