Broke on its first outing
Hugely disappointing purchase. I don't know if I was just unlucky but this stopped working the first time I took it in the field; the little clicky on/off switch beneath the rubber gasket had snapped off its solder. I'm in the UK and US Streamlight customer service were not interested, told me the retailer would have to arrange to repair it. Took it to a mobile phone repair shop who soldered it back on, and a day later it snapped again, and it went in the bin. Very expensive waste of money and left me caught short in the middle of an ex.

Wer militär Qualität sucht, findet sie hier
Um eins vorweg zu nehmen, es ist keine klassische Kopflampe. Es ist halt eine militärische Lampe, die Ausstattung sagt wohl alles. Die Qualität ist top. Die Helligkeit ist für das wozu die Lampe gemacht wurde OK. Die Bedienung ist auf "Sicherheit" getrimmt, also gegen versehentliches einschalten. Der Halteclip hat seinen Namen verdient, er hält ultra fest, für manches Kleidungsstück auf Dauer zu fest. Sprich es kann zu Schäden kommen, positiv daran, man verliert die Lampe nicht so schnell. Die Multi Batterie Tauglichkeit ist natürlich mega. Alles in allem ein top Lampe, der Preis ist das einzige wo man meckern kann, allerdings sage ich hier . Man kommt immer dass wofür man bezahlt

Nice piece of equipment
Tested out all the colour options available and the IR which is meant more for military use (could have been another colour option like green for civilian use) The power output was decent (for close range use) and the swivel is strong, will not easily move out of range or by accident. The seals are great too and love the choice of using either RC-123 or AA (at a pinch).

Utilisé en bivouac
J’utilise le Streamlight pour toutes mes sorties en extérieur, et je suis vraiment satisfait. Parfait pour le bivouac, sa lumière est puissante tout en restant compacte et légère. Ce que j’apprécie particulièrement, c’est la possibilité d’utiliser directement la lumière rouge et surtout discrète, idéale pour ne pas éblouir la nuit, sans avoir à passer par le blanc ou d’autres modes. Solide, pratique et très fiable, je recommande vivement ce modèle pour les activités en plein air !
