If you need an ultrasonic get a bigger one. This one does absolutely nothing.

This unit heats the bath really fast. (unlike most other ultrasonic cleaners with wimpy heaters). It's cleans objects very quickly and the pulse feature is great for extra tough cleaning jobs. The controls are very intuitive and the build quality is excellent. (commensurate with German engineering).My only complaint is why doesn't Elma include a basket given the high price? Everyone else does!!

There are three major problems with the Elmasonic 107 1657 EP30H Tabletop Ultrasonic Cleaner that I received.The very first thing I noticed is that it is unbalanced. The legs are not even. One of them is off by a quarter inch. So it will move back and forth on the countertop.Second, after using the Elmasonic 107 1657 EP30H for about a week, I've noticed that several rust spots have appeared inside the tank.Third, the Elmasonic 107 1657 EP30H turns on very intermittently. I plug it in, turn the dials for power and temperature and the light for the temperature does not turn on. When I turn the power knob over to the minutes that the machine will create ultrasonic activity, there is no activity. Either power is not getting to the machine or there is some other issue.I've experimented with different outlets throughout the building. I've made certain that the power cord going to the back of the machine is securely attached.With tax, this machine cost me over $400. I am unimpressed.I expected to receive a high quality product considering this is made in Germany.
