I purchased these ski straps to carry skis for myself and my girlfriend (we have 3 pairs of skis between us). After reading reviews on Amazon, I was between either the Volk or the Sklon models, which reviews stated are very similar. The only difference is the strap - the Volk has a rubberized strap while the Sklon is padded. I decided that there was no difference between a rubberized and padded strap and made my purchase decision based on pricing (the Volk came two for $25, which beat the per pair cost of the Sklon). The product arrived promptly, was packaged well, instructions and set up were simple with basic guide provided in the instructions. The product appears of good quality and performs as advertised. A rubberized protector wraps around the ski in two places. A strap connects the wrapped areas. Each wrapped areas has a ski pole attachment. I installed on a pair of Head Supershape iTitan in 177 length (a heavy pair of skis) and the product works well. My girlfriend who is 5'1" was also happy with the product for her skis. I would definitely recommend this product. Users should make sure to control their skis while using, because one doesn't want to hit anything with the skis while carrying (and damage either the ski or something else).

Makes walking with skis and poles so much easier, especially for kids. I am also impressed with the high quality materials.

Before buying belts, I heard different opinions and reviews. My practice of using these belts showed-I am very satisfied with the purchase of this belts! Practical and convenient for carrying skis and poles. I recommend it!

Great straps. Strong velcro on the ski straps and durable clips for the shoulder carrier. Only complaint is that the plastic piece on the shoulder strap doesn't slide down to where the nylon is overlapped (when you've shortened the shoulder strap for children) making it slippery on top of winter coats. Still - a few times slipping off their shoulders is better than me having to lug both kid's skis from the car to the lodge myself.

Where you been all my life? Seriously, I've been skiing for over 30 years and laughed when I've seen people using similar devices to carry skis until I tried this for a ski trip to New Zealand. These are life (and back) savers. We had to do much more walking from the car park to the lifts on this trip as there is no slopeside lodging or easy access to the base lodge and lifts without extensive walking on uneven roads and walkways. The straps are cleverly designed with no slip grips that easily wrap around skis plus an handy strap that snaps around poles. So easy to carry! And compact enough to put in a pocket. Truly, these are a game changer if you need to carry skis and poles -- especially if are already booted up / walking from the car, etc.

They made life so much better for my 10 year old. No more crying carrying his skis and poles!

I've used these for about one ski season now – probably ~15 times. Not sure how many seasons this will last me, but at this price point I will buy one again next year if it fails. I'm very happy with the strap, and combined with my ski boot backpack, I could happily walk a mile with my ski gear to the mountain. Eliminates one of the most annoying parts of skiing for me, so I don't care if I don't "look like a local" while walking around the base of the mountain. Pros: - I hate skis slipping and sliding everywhere while carrying them – this solves that - I want to keep my hands in my pockets while carrying my skis - My arm doesn't get tired holding skis on my shoulder - Quick enough to attach that it's worth it for me as long as I'm walking at least 1-2 minutes. Cons: - Plastic bit did snap but I was able to clip the carabiner directly on to the strap and it works fine with that workaround - You don't look as cool - Strap makes your pocket quite lumpy if you ski with it in your jacket – I prefer to leave it in a locker or boot bag.

Fantastic product! Unfortunately, one of the velcro pieces that hook onto the strap was missing. We were leaving the day it arrived for a ski trip so decided to keep it and at least use one. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars!

If you are looking for an easy and convenient way carry your skis, this is the ski strap you need. I have tried a couple of other brands of ski straps and compared to others the material used by these seems to be of higher quality. I also like the that they use a snap button to secure the poles. Other products use velcro for the poles and I really struggled to get the poles secured properly. Works great for kids and adults. Will be buying a second set for the rest of the family.
