Work great as far as I can tell
I haven't compared them to the genuine Pulse Sensor, but I am getting readings from them via Arduino and can see my pulse on the serial plotter output. Very cool.

Need to solder! Comes in three pieces
I am so unhappy with this product! The image shows how it’s all connected but I received it with three pieces! Why do I need to solder everything together when the image shows how it is all pieced together?!

You MUST set the baud rate at 9600 for this to work!!!
Took a little fiddling but ultimately works as described for a cheap heartbeat sensor. If you've wired and connected this product correctly it will light up green. The reason I had trouble setting it up is that to get a proper signal, you need to set both the serial baud rate in your sketch and the baud rate on your serial monitor/plotter to 9600. Most sketches you'll find for this sensor have a baud rate of 115200 or something like that. I just changed the baud rate and it worked fine. Four stars because I thought based on the picture that I would not have to solder anything. You do have to solder the connectors on to the tabs on the board.

Scammers Their Sensor Doesn't Work Even When You Put It Together
You have to solder and put the connection together I tried everything and didn't work. This is a scam.

Heartbeat sensor
Easy to use just the welding of the wires was a little difficult

Difficult to use correctly
Many reviewers have complained about this product. I founded it functional, but it required considerable work to detect heart beat (pulse wave). One must be still: it's very sensitive to muscle movement ("noise"). I was able to measure my heart rate (photo), but the signal-to-noise was low. Verticle deflection of each beat corresponds to 78 microA change. Output would benefit from voltage applification (eventhough it has an on-board OpAmp amplifier). Current range thru sensor output pin: 3-4mA. Voltage range: 30mA [dark] to 2000mA [pulse].

NOT WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE ADD
Not as shown in ad. The unit comes in 3 pieces, soldering required. This in itself should be a sign. I will try to cut off one side of the male to male cable supplied to see if I can make it work. I'm not expecting favorable results after reading the other reviews.
