Good Vibes Coloring Book

I’m going to write a review like I wish I had been able to read when I was looking through hundreds of reviews for different books. I’m fairly new to adult coloring and the first book I got the pages were extremely hard to tear out of the book. I ruined so many pages that I wanted to color and would get so mad. I couldn’t cut them out either because the book didn’t lay flat. So I knew the number one thing I wanted in my next book was perforated pages. This book has perforated pages so will be easy to tear out to color. I also didn’t want a bunch of pages that had a lot of black shading in them. I want to color it not have someone determine that the background should be black. This book has no black pages. My first book also had designs on both sides, and since I like to color with ultra fine point markers, which bleed, I often had to decide which design I wanted to color more because I wouldn’t be able to do both. This book has one design per page, the flip side of the page has a quote. I also didn’t want anything too cheesy or with swear words, as funny as those are I would hate for my elderly mother to come over and see that. This book has cute sayings that aren’t overly cheesy and makes me want to roll my eyes and say oh brother. My first book had a lot of intricate details but also had large areas to color which made my markers dry out pretty quickly. This page has some intricate details but nothing so tiny and no large spaces. I like that. The only downside that I can see is that the paper is a little thin, but since I tear them out to color them anyway that shouldn’t be an issue. All in all this is a great book whether you’re a beginner like me, or more advanced, there’s something for everyone here.

This coloring book is so much fun! I got started on the adult coloring books a while back and I make time daily to color a page. It is relaxing and fun to do. I love to be creative so this is perfect for me. This book has great picture quality and I love the inspirational sayings in them. I have even framed a couple of them to put up on the wall. I use gel pens, sharpies and colored pencils on them to make a nice blend of colors and shades. I wish they wouldn't put the already colored pictures in the book though as I feel this takes up some pages that could have been more coloring pages for whoever buys the book. I do like however, that they are one sided pages so when I use sharpies, I don't have to worry about ruining a picture on the back side of the page. These keep people of all ages busy. I like to color in them while listening to calming music. I very highly recommend this adult coloring book to anyone who colors or wants to color. I have been coloring in this book and it is one of my favorites and I have many. I have also given this book as gifts and everyone just loves it.

Adorable designs. Did not disappoint.

Everything about this coloring book is positive, which is really amazing. From the messages on each page to color, accompanied by an uplifting quote on the opposite page. This coloring book also gives examples of how to color each page--something that not a lot of coloring books offer..seeing how your page could possibly turn out is helpful and fun..even if you decide to go another way. I didn't give it 5 stars because some of the lines on the quotes are really thin...I prefer the outlines to be medium, but some of them are thin which makes me think when I color them, I'll have to be so careful not to color out of the lines...plus I use markers which tend to bleed a bit every time...with this book, I might have to use pencils in some areas just to be sure I don't mess up..which is a little stressful for an activity that's supposed to be a stress reliever...but I'm up for the task..a little focus never hurt!

I am new to coloring but this has inspired me to do more! The paper is thick enough to use my markers on however I still but a piece of card stock behind it! I will definitely order more from this collection! I love that the back of the pages, it has inspirational quotes as well! I love it!

This is a very good quality book paper nice tares out easily has lots of educational information in the first few pages it is by far a much nicer quality than most of them out their and it is worth more than your paying for it. I'm very happy with this item and will be looking forward to futer buys from this artist thank you so much for this book I'm looking forward to coloring in it very soon

I love this coloring book. I use coloring for therapy for my insomnia, anxiety, and depression so having positive statements to color in reaffirms the positivity I want in my life--especially when I'm feeling anxious. I like using gel pens to color it in as I prefer the brighter look. I love that the pages tear out and are one sided. I use the backside to test colors to find ones that I feel look the best in whichever page I'm coloring. But there are lines in it where you could even write short note. I'd imagine you could use that space if you wanted to journal a bit or write a short note to a friend you may give the picture to (because maybe your friend needs to know that positive vibe). There are also additional quotes on the back, usually by someone famous. You could probably use the lines to practice your own fancy hand lettering by writing out the quote yourself. Or use the lines for whatever you desire. Most of the images are simple. Some people like the highly detailed intricate books, but they bore me because it's too much. I like the simplicity. I don't feel like it's going to take me hours to color in a page, I could do them in one sitting if I wanted. So if you adore the intricate mandalas, this book will probably seem too childish for you. I think it's the perfect middle ground between the simple children's coloring books that may require the fat crayons or markers and the incredibly intricate adult coloring books that may require ultra fine point markers or pencils. I can use my medium glitter gel pens happily!
