This thing took me right back to elementary school—the satisfying *thunk* of slicing a small stack of paper is amazing. Overall, it’s perfect for what I need. I’ve had zero issues cutting up to 10 sheets at a time. When I tried 15, the cut was a little rough, but that’s expected for this size overall, though it's very easy to use and cuts very accurately. The price is great too. The plastic guide lets you pinch the paper securely for clean, safe cuts, and the whole trimmer is very lightweight thanks to the mostly plastic build. Easy to move around, no heavy steel base to deal with. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve only had this 15-inch paper cutter for a few days, but I’m already very impressed with it. I purchased it to trim my Certificates of Authenticity, which are printed on premium vellum/cotton paper. I only cut one or two sheets at a time because accuracy is more important to me than speed. As an artist with over 30 years of experience using commercial and personal paper cutters, knives, and trimmers, I know a good cutter when I use one. The self-sharpening steel blade makes clean, straight cuts every time, and the printed grid and ruler make it easy to line everything up accurately. The guard rail also helps hold the paper securely while cutting. I also appreciate the four non-slip rubber feet on the bottom, which keep the cutter from sliding around on my work surface. It is lightweight, making it easy to move and store, yet it feels sturdy enough for the jobs it was designed to do. For the price, I think this is an excellent value and a great choice for artists, crafters, home offices, or anyone who needs clean, accurate cuts.

For the price, this isn’t a bad deal. I can’t give it 5 stars for two reasons: first, it’s REALLY sharp, a good thing when cutting through multiple sheets of paper, but the blade is SO sharp, I cut myself several times, bleeding to the point of needing a secure cloth bandage each time. The blade doesn’t lift quite high enough to stay out of my way, and even remembering that, I did it again. Second, it’s not the most sturdy cutter. I like how the blade locks into place, but the same function causes it to be a little imprecise if not being careful enough. Maybe that’s just me or having owned a more precise cutter in the past. It’s still a good product BUT I would not let anyone under 18 have free rein with it.

Extremely easy and good quality! It’s lightweight, but durable. Just make sure to pay attention to the instructions. This one only slices up to 10 pieces of paper at a time.

It’s not an accurate line cutter

I am really glad I got this. The cuts are very clean and square. It has a good locking mechanism on it. It is light weight enough that it easily stores on edge on top of my cabinet. The finger guard keeps the paper from slipping and protects well from accidents. I have done several hundred cuts with 2-3 sheets of paper at once and things are still cutting well.

Very easy to use and cuts very nicely. I like the locking ability so my little ones don’t get curious and accidentally cut their hand.

This is a very basic paper cutter, lightweight, and just the right size for everyday office paper. The blade is sharp and it easily cuts 10 regular printer pages in one go. The packaging is minimal but keeps the product in good shape during shipping. We have to install the handle, but that's no big deal. There is a finger guide that is nice so we don't cut the fingers and is far enough away from the side we can see where the cutting edge. When not in use, we can pop the handle onto a hidden peg so it won't open. I store mine on end on a bookshelf when not in use. There is a strong chance of user error here as the safety is not intuitive. Someone wanted to use my paper cutter and tried to yank it open because they thought it was broken or stuck when really it was on the safety latch. I might put a sticker on the machine saying how to open it if there's a chance of other people using it in the future. I found it a bit difficult to get a precise cutting edge but I could get it within 1 or 2 mm of where I needed which is good enough for the work I do. The surface was not really slippery, but not really grippy either, so the paper could move mid cut if I'm not paying close attention which is annoying. On the whole, I'm happy with this. It exceeded my expectations and makes a great budget paper cutter. I'm using it for trimming PDF sewing patterns and it does that very well.
