21st Century Glucosamine Chondroitin, 3X, Liquid Raspberry, 16 Ounce

i read about one hundred reviews for this product, yet somehow no one has accurately described the flavor. most commonly this has been called "overly sweet" and "medicinal". i do not believe this tastes medicinal at all, and it is definitely not sweet. the berry flavor tastes natural, but it is very tart, or even sour tasting. the texture is very thick-thicker than a liquid and thinner than a gel. product seems to work just fine though.

My doctor told me that this was excellent for joint health and cartilage rejuvenation. I trust him on that. I was surprised to find it in a liquid form but it does indeed taste great! No sugar but a delicious raspberry flavor. Be careful if you are allergic to shellfish though! Read the label carefully!

Okay! This stuff seems to work for me. Regarding the flavor - It is unlikely to make you scream (or even whisper) "Yummy!" That said - it definitely tastes better than the only other brand that I have tried. If you want, you can think of this as a mediocre review. And, if you want to risk the more challenging flavor of another brand, or take a horse pill, please rest assured that I have nothing but admiration for your courage.

Horrible taste. Not the type of strength I am used to in Glucosamine, it really felt like half the strength of other liquid formulas. I would NOT recommend this product.I had to go back to 'Finest Nutrition' Liquid Formula at Walgreens (Glucosamine HCl 2000mg, Chondroitin Sulfate1200mg).

This product was better in cost that I was able to find anywhere and it was exactly what I needed. We use this for our dog he has hip problems. The vet said give him 1 teaspoon a day and he is back to running around.

I'm only giving this a lower rating because I can't get myself to take this on a regular basis because of the taste. I don't doubt this formulation works but the taste is part of why I go with more expensive Joint Juice. I've tried mixing with water, juice, putting in a fruit smoothie but I really have to talk myself into taking this. It's a very sugary concentrated berry flavor but sensitive as I am, I can still taste the medicinal part.To this product's credit, the functioning is great. I have been using this supplement since my early 20's ever since I had housemaid knee and also couldn't run on the soccer field without excruciating pain in my knee. It's been many years now of being reliant on this supplement and when I go without, my knees let me know! All it takes is a day's dose and in a couple days I am back to feeling better.I recently was diagnosed with arthritis of an autoimmune source that has debilitated me quite a bit in my hands, SI joints, hips and feet. I don't know if this product is helping me with that but I tend to think I'd be worse off without it. I practice yoga on a near daily basis and I can tell when I have not been taking this supplement.

The taste is not that good but the benefits of the product outweigh the taste!

Interesting supplement. It's one of the sweetest tasting glucosamine supplements I've ever used (and I do try lots of different brands). Overall I like it and will definitely purchase it again. Since I do try different brands, I can usually tell within a few days if a product isn't working. This one seems to be working well--no creaky knees. :-)
