Do not buy
Exceptionally poor finish on this product.As you can see from the photo, there is a rim/edge on the face that you would hit your bat with (the other side has a flat face). If I did use this (with either side) it would mark my bat.The finish should be rounded off so the mallet does not leave marks on the bat face.Poor poor quality product.

Broke immediately
Broke after 5mins. Wood glue fixed it but still super annoying

Handle was not glued to the hammer end, basically useless. Avoid

What I loved most about this cricket mallet is spending my Sunday listening to my son knock in his cricket bat. He loved it though, and it seemed to work as it should, and now my son his happy that he has his perfect cricket bat so it was worth the purchase.I'm not sure the one I got was the same as the ones others have reviewed/taken a photo of, as the wood on ours was much darker and more like the advised photo in the listing.
