This is good quality. Solid piece
This is good quality. Solid piece, and the finish is pretty decent. What I like about these valves is that they allowed me to have my gas shut-off outside, through the wall, so no gas is inside the house when my fireplace is turned off. My wall is 2x6, and the valve was about 4" from the wall. So I needed to get a longer key and used a coupling and a piece of threaded pipe (Amazon rejected my review for calling that pipe the way it is called, thinking I was obscene) to get the plate at the distance I needed from the valve, and still look nice and be able to turn off the gas from inside the house. See pictures attached for my setup.
