LOMANCO 904W White Adjustable Louver

I noticed that I had mold developing on my attic roof joists. Never had mold in the 30 years I lived in the house. So, I spoke to several roof guys about a potential leak in my roof (ten years old on 30 year shingles). They said no leak. I realized that the gable vents were blocked. From the inside my attic, I couldn't see light to the outside through the old vents. So I removed the old vents (same make as these only 45++ years old) and discovered the old screens were completely blocked -- making my attic a tropical rain forest and perfect for mold. I installed these and they came with new screens. As soon as I installed these, I could feel the humidity escaping through the vents. And because they are adjustable, they fit perfectly. I would buy these again. Thank you.

It was used to replaced a damaged louver vent. Fit in the old opening correctly and looks great.

These were more reasonable than any other triangle gable vents I found. They do adjust in size to fit a variety of roof pitches. Good size flange in order to attach them.

How surprised was I when I went to replace my old gable vents with these and saw that they were the exact same ones. Very easy to install and reliable. My old ones were at least 9 years old (that's how long I've been in the house) and were blown down from a big storm that recently came through.

These adjustable louvers were exactly what I was looking for and fit perfectly, once adjusted, the opening at the top of the gable where I needed to install them. (The opening where we installed them was, if I remember correctly, 48 total inches wide and 12 inches tall.)However, when these arrived, the boxes had obviously been 'return' items despite the seller not labeling them as such. Both of the boxes had been previously opened and re-taped shut, both frames were significantly bent (something we had to correct before installation), and one of the vents had mud on it.So, if you're looking for a good product for your needs, this is certainly it; just beware who you purchase them from.
