Most used pot in my kitchen, people weren't kidding!
This is the most used pot in my kitchen! The smaller size means that it's perfect for the little eye of our stove, which wasn't getting much use. Heats up quickly and evenly, handle never gets hot, straining lid is GREAT (has 2 sizes of holes to choose from). Very thankful for this lid and the pour spout - none of our regular pots have this. Because the handle doesn't stick out far, it takes up little room and is easy to store. Handle on the lid is great - I'm glad it's so large! I've used this pot for SO many things! My #1 use for this pot: TEA!... brewing large containers of tea for us to chill and drink. It's really helping us kickstart our health goals. We drink lots and lots of chilled white or green tea, and the pour spout on this pot is the highlight of my teamaking! I'm also able to make large amounts of hot tea if we have guests over too. It can cook your food or be your teapot, you pick! CONS 1) I can't think of any except that this might be too small if you are looking to cook large amounts pretty often. Also, our water is very hard and there is some SLIGHT discoloration on the interior. It doesn't affect it at all though, so doesn't bother me. PROS 1) Well-designed and well made, easy to use and easy to store, very lightweight. It is 18/10 stainless steel (this is stamped onto the bottom of the pot), which is high quality. 2) VERY versatile - even if you don't think you will use it a lot, it will end up being your most used pot since it's just so easy to use and more versatile than a regular pot 4) Handles do not get hot. Angle of the pot handle is just perfect, especially for pouring. The handle is easy to grip as well. 5) Is really an all-in-one, has 2 sizes of strainer built into the lid, and a handy pour spout on the pot 6) Scratch resistant - have used it a lot, no scratches on it so far. It's got a strong and resistant finish on it 7) Has AWESOME and large easy to read measurements on the inside, 1 cups, 2 cups, 4 cups, 6 cups, 8 cups (and also shows the Liter conversion of each of these too)

Krona 1.9 liter multi pot is genius!
I first saw this type of pot while at an extended-stay hotel, and itโs fantastic! I got this 1.9 liter because itโs the size Iโm most likely to use most often- Iโm alone and cook for myself, primarily. I can see this baby getting daily use! And Iโll be looking to get 1 or 2 bigger ones to help with the job when my family comes to visit! This pot is BALANCED! itโs easy to hold and maneuver, without the risk of straining my wrist and dropping it!! Itโs a decent size, and I can see multiple uses. And it even matches my current set of pots and pans. Itโs a great marriage of form and function. The stainless steel finish is a plus too- itโs a breeze to clean after cooking! Now I wonโt have an excuse to not have soup this winter.

Best & favorite pot ever!
This is my 2nd pot I ordered, because 1 isnโt enough. This lil pot takes up little space in the cabinet, but is big enough to get the job done quickly when cooking. It heats up fast, has a great easy to hold handle that stays cool, lid with 2 straining sides, easy clean, and is cute as a button. My husband actually asked me to order this 2nd pot because he loves it, too. Weโll never be without one! Or two. ๐

Disregard Star rating was based on older model, new one is substandard Chinese made knockoff
This is one of those items that you never knew existed. But once you discover it, you cant do without it. If you cook a lot of vegetables or pasta in regular pmots you need one of these pots. It makes life so much easier. Everything works well. The pot is the right weight and balance. The handle stays relatively cool. The lid fits perfectly. As far as cooking things like pasta this pot is excellent. Its much simpler to take this pot to the sink and pour out the water through the small holes in the lid and leave the pasta in the pot. It'll make you wonder why you ever put a pasta strainer in the sink, dump scalding hot water/pasta into it, get a bunch of steam in your face, etc. EDIT: The above was true of the older pot. The new pot is totally different and far inferior to the old precision made pot. The new one is made in China, and is substandard in all ways. The lid doesnt fit well, the lid in the old model fit snugly and precisely. The Chinese made one has the lid rattling around like any old cheap pot. Whats the point of strainer holes if the water comes streaming out even if you dont have the strainer holes opened? My pot even had dark unsightly solder marks in the inside of the pot! Wait did I buy a $10 el cheapo Chinese pot without knowing? No I bought a $35 supposedly premium pot and this is what I get? I'm tempted to sue for bait and switch this is corporate gamesmanship at its worst. I encourage no one support this crummy corporation or buy their substandard cookware. If you have past experience with their cookware, these days are over they've totally sold out and only sell shoddy Chinese junk now.

One of my favorites!
I first saw a pot this shape as a kid when my family lived in Europe. Other than the one I grew up with I had never seen another. Several years later, I found this brand and got one for myself and when my mom saw it, she got one for herself as well! I keep it on my stove top at all times and use it at least twice a day. It's great for just pouring the water or milk in to the measuring lines and making anything from minute rice, pudding, Mac and cheese, stove top stuffing, cocoa or tea! I have been gifting these at every bridal shower I attend for decades! I love to give these along with other favorite kitchen items to those I love. This model is a little different from those I have purchased in the past... the handle is quite a bit longer, so I am concerned that it could get hot from the stovetop; something I have never had to worry about with mine. I do love how the interior is curved at the bottom edge, which I think will make whisking easier, as well as cleaning. My biggest concern is with the lid. It is much heavier than I am used to, and the handle is taller- when you turn the lid to pour through one of the sieve areas, the lid will fall right off when you tip the pot to pour it. So whoever uses this pot will have to be sure to check that the pot handle isn't too hot to hold, and be sure to also hold the lid in place as they strain pasta or veggies... things I haven't had to worry about with my older one. The overall quality is nicer than one I purchased a decade or so ago- so I'm pleased that the materials feel better than they did back then. The heavier lid is only an issue when you pour with it on. The taller handle might even make it easier to use with larger hands. Since I am gifting this, I have not tested it with water or anything in it, so I cannot assure how well it pours in general. So for the first time ever, I am including a gift receipt just in case the recipient isn't thrilled with it. It really is one if the most used items in my kitchen, and every member of my household uses it. My biggest issue here at home is whether or not it's been properly cleaned before someone puts it back on the stove!๐

Compact/versatile/heavy steel/draining lid/spout
This is one of the handiest pans I use in the kitchen. Came across it when looking for a 2-qt saucepan - read the reviews, gave it a try based on all good comments, so glad I did. Best part is its cooking versatility, along with compact size which works perfectly on small burners. It's heavy stainless steel has proven to be durable. I hand-wash to keep it looking it's best on the stove - and do reach for it everyday. Here's list of things I've cooked so far with good results: boil 4 med-sz potatoes, steam veggies & side dishes such as rice and pasta; hot chocolate (as always stir slowly to prevent scorched milk); mix pancake batter, sauces & gravies (pouring spout a plus). Anything cooked in a sauce pan, this is even better due to its height, the draining lid, useful spout, and close handle (handle doesn't get hot on glass top stove). Definitely a plus in the kitchen, and though it is similar in use, I feel it beats a saucepan and is a good buy. (Incidentally, I found the lid fits perfectly on a larger 11-cup version of same pot made by Kuhn Rikon/Switzerland - on Amazon too).

All hail the multi-pot!
I love this thing. I know it's just a pot, but it's definitely the go-to item in my kitchen at this point. I love the handle. I don't know why, but the handle makes it so much nicer to handle than most pots or pans. I almost just want to stock my kitchen with three or four of these. Its merits: It's a good size for a can of soup or ramen, and the spout lets you easily pour it from the pot to a bowl. It's tall enough to cook pasta without worrying about boiling over, and you can strain through the lid. It's even the perfect size and shape for a nice bowl of popcorn. I use it for almost anything that's going on the stove. Its faults: Nothing serious. The bottom of the pot stained pretty quickly. I think it might come out with some polish, but it's a little unappealing for now. The lid is a little loose, like other people have mentioned. It's just enough that I noticed it, not enough to interfere with the straining. Long story short, this is an awesome little pot, and it's perfect for about 80% of my stove-related needs. I highly recommend it.

The perfect pot, that you really need!
If you need a small (8cups) gravy pot, this is the perfect choice! It goes right from the stove to the table! I took it to a church fellowship and have bought 3 more for Christmas gifts! Needless to say I really love this Norpro stainless steel multi purpose pot with the beautiful glass lid.
