Commercial Restaurant Black Bar Stool Replacement Seat (0-1950SEATBLK)

Already had a shop stool but didn't like the high prices of a whole new stool so opted for a seat. This is a well-made commercial seat. It took 5 minutes to replace it and it is awesome! I did have to pay shipping, but was happy to pay it because I save so much on all my other stuff with Prime.

A couple of drawbacks. 1. The (female) screw holes are not metal. Therefore, you screw into the "wood" product. In time, the screws will strip out. 2. The seats come with no screws or fasteners. Therefore, you must take the seat to the hardware store to determine the dimension of the screw required, since you can't use the bolt from the original seat which screwed into metal. We also used washers to diminish the possibility of the screw working it's way out of the wood hole. The overall quality seems to be satisfactory (for the $20 investment). The key will be to see how long it takes for the seams to split.

We were looking to replace our bar stool tops, and it looked like it was going to be an expensive effort. These stool tops were a third of the price of other stools and are just great. Our original stools tops were a 13" diameter, and the 14" works was all that was available but they work just fine on our stools. These stool tops are more firm (not quite as soft of cushion) than our previous stool tops, but that is fine. Perhaps the cushion will hold up longer. I am very happy with the purchase. The stools now look like new.

These are actually black, not brown as pictured. The seats came quickly and installed very easily. We use them every day in our home and have had no problems with durability and cleaning. They are comfortable, obviously not as comfortable as a couch but for the money they are great. We are very happy with our purchase.

The product is as advertised. It replaced an old, worn out seat I had recommended that my husband send to the junk. With this new seat, he is using it all the time and it works well. It looks better than the original!

This seat looks nice and seems to be well build with a nice heavy duty feeling cover. It leaves a lot to be desired in padding though. I would estimate the actual padding to be less than 1/2 inch.

This seat is a big block of wood with only a very small amount of padding on the top. I understand it being very stable. But the comfort level is very low. Also, there are no mounting holes you have to drill and tap them yourself.

Good quality and works well.
