This product is exactly what you would imagine it to be! The design fits perfectly over my standard chrome faucets sealing wonderfully.Previously I was having lots of issues with my faucets getting stuck after several days of non use and the only solution was to remove the faucet for a quick soak in warm sanitizer water. Well no more!...well sort of anyway. With the Tap Soothers I can go a couple of days without the faucets getting gummed up, which is usually plenty long for me!As for sanitation concerns, although I don't have much issue with insects or...what have you, the seal on the Tap Soothers is definitely tight enough to prevent and unwanted pests.Should also note that they are extremely easy to install and remove!All in all they are a great and cheap medium term solution...but some Perlick Faucets would still be nice!

It fit easily and snuggly on my tap. No visible damage after 2 runs in the washing machine. Unclear why the star rating had scent as a category but i didnt notice one so that seems like a plus

A friend at a local craft beer bar always uses these when he closes shop or has an empty line, so I decided to use them myself. I am so glad that I decided too. We have a dual kegerator in our home bar, but when we have beer in it we usually only perform 2 or so pours a night. We had problems with dried beer formation inside the faucet, but this has eliminated that. Although the remaining beer residue inside the faucet will still dry out eventually, this helps hold in the humidity for as long as we would ever need. We never go more than a few days without pouring and it works fine for that time frame. It also works nice for keeping the faucet clean and dust free when we don't have any beer on tap. Cleaning is also surprisingly easy. Because it hold in moisture so well,, any gunk buildup can easily be rinsed out with hot water.

I waited entirely too long to purchase this! I bought a kegorator a couple of years ago and every summer I suffered with the same issue, those pesky, irritating fruit flies and other insects flying around and hanging out on the spout. I always lysoled/sanitized but still felt like I should be repelling them in a more sanitary manner. It wasn't until I purchased the beer line cleaning kit from Amazon that I realized there were products like this. While on the beer line cleaning kit page, it was recommended by Amazon to add it to My order and that this kegworks tap soother product was often purchased with it. I can't think of a better way that I could have spent the three dollars and change!!! It fits my keg nozzle/spout like a glove and works like a charm! Plus the shipping was wicked fast!

My tap is built into my barbecue on my patio. Since it's outdoors, it is subjected to the elements: hot and cold, rain, dust, etc. The heat is the worst element, because of its effect on the beer residue in the faucet. This cover is a great way to slow down or prevent the growth of mold in the faucet and to prevent the mold from growing into the valve and into the plumbing lines.This cover is a pinched-off plastic tube. It fits perfectly over the tip of the faucet. What isn't obvious from the photo is that the picture is from the top-view. Looking at the product picture, I thought it covered more of the faucet. But it's just a tube that slips over the tip of the faucet, similar to an, um, prophylactic.And keeping with that metaphor, this truly is good cheap insurance for keeping the cooties off your nozzle.

These are awesome little things. I keep them on my dual tap faucets on my kegerator whenever not in use. Beer residue is full of sugar and bugs are highly attracted to it. Even if you don't think there are bugs in your house they somehow find your tap faucet. Don't pour your friend a beer with a dead bug in it. These slip on and off tap faucets with ease. Just make sure to take it off before you open the tap or else you will have a hell of a mess to clean up. They do wash easy with warm water and soap.

Literally just a rubber stopper to place over your tap faucet end. The nipple on the bottom of the image allows you to remove it easier by giving you something to grasp that is not surrounding your faucet.Seems to keep the tap handle (and I imagine its guts) from getting sticky over time, so I'd say it does it's job. For a few bucks, its probably worth it.I would suggest you clean this frequently as you can get drippings inside that can get sticky and gunky if not cleaned often enough.

Ordered these for hubby for his draft fridge-he loves them they are just what you need for the taps it helps keep them clean and no bugs.

Perfect, exactly what we needed.

Decent tap soother serves its purpose but just looks like an industrial piece of rubber. The cut is kinda jagged and there is no keg works brand name on the side like it shows in pic . Most expensive chunk of rubber hose you will ever buy .

Although overpriced, I'm sure this item would have been fine but it was "on it's way" until the return window closed and it never arrived
