Read Before Purchase Please don’t wrongly think they are Switch console and Joycons. Actually they are full housing shell with full set buttons for Nintendo Switch without any electronic parts. Requires customers to take apart the Joycon to replace the original Joycon shells and buttons. Requires customer with moderate electronic modification experience. Get installation video guide on You tube by searching "ExtremeRate Switch Joycon New Horizon Style" or "o8QPB2uTbHk". Product Feature Totally upgrade your Switch to the exclusive and stylish level. Made of durable non-toxic ABS plastic. The shells are clear but not 100%. Installation Tips Installation difficulty: High Time spent: 4 hours or more Patience needed: High Go slow. Check every connection. Keep your screws organized. Watch a Youtube video on how to do it though, pausing and replaying often. When you are reassembling the Joycons you must be conscious of how tight you are tightening the screws as that will affect how your buttons to press. When removing the Joycon outer screws make sure you are using a Tri-wing screwdriver. Be careful not to strip the 4 outer triangle screws or over tighten any screws. There are multiple very delicate ribbon cables in the Joycon that need to be removed and reattached. Use tweezers instead of bulky fingers at all times to help with the little pieces that you'll take to move to the new case. Note that the ZR and ZL on the Joycons are spring loaded so be careful when opening. Installing the console back-plate is easy. Simply disassemble your original back housing and kickstand from the Switch, then replace it with eXtremeRate back plate and kickstand. Review: Excellent quality, however I'm not a fan of the clear buttons at all. - The installation took me roughly 2 hours and this is from someone who has a lot of disassembly experience and has already taken joy cons apart before. But this is not an issue at all, just something you should be aware of. The installation was pretty straightforward, the worst part was taking apart the triggers but had no major issues. I'm very glad this kit came with so many spare screws and springs as I had to use quite a few of these! The screwdriver was fine, I ended up using a different set for the installation however as the bits kept falling out but I think this would be fine if you didn't have any alternatives. I didn't like the clear buttons and they weren't up to the same standard as the shells so I decided to opt for using my original black buttons which I think looks a lot better. The shell fits really well together however and I'm excited to see how well it hold up over time as my original shell wore down and went shiny quite quickly. I did have one small issue, a few days after I had been using the system, one of the screws on my joy con came so loose it was sticking out, I haven't encountered this again but this is maybe due to me using the stock screws from my original joy cons instead of the screws included with this kit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great starter kit

Really cool looking, good quality case kit. Comes with the tools needed to install, which was a great bonus. However... the y00 screwdriver fittings teeth wore against the screws and needed replacement. Not a major issue to add a replacement. Can be a very fiddly process on the joycons definitely worth watching some YouTube tutorials first. Came with multi coloured replacement front facing buttons, but I kept the original black for effect. A shame there weren't any available in the same colour plastic too, or for the bumpers/triggers. Added bonus - you can see the joycon lights through the case which is great!!
