Excellent equipment with a professional fit
Highly recommend for professional equipment.High quality thermal cooling in our new Home network rack system. Fans are well designed, offer good airflow, and added to the look and serviceability of our rack.Fans are well finished, heavy gauge and very presentable. Almost a shame to lock them behind a wire front cabinet in a server room.Sound levels are well within norms for this application.Displays are easy to read and very intuitive.

Excellent Unit - Fair Price - Excellent Customer Service
I am a professional musician and I ordered this product to install in a rack full of temperature sensitive - high tech and very expensive digital signal processing equipment for guitar. This product works excellent for this application and I do plan on installing a second one in the back of the rack for added ventilation. Even though this unit was probably designed for a computer server rack, I have found it to work extremely well for my guitar rack rig. I would recommend this unit to anyone as it is a cost effective piece of gear that is built well, very quiet, and moves volumes of air to assist in keeping the rack equipment cool. I did reverse the fans so that it is sucking in cool air and I placed it in between the two pieces of equipment that generate the most heat. Once I receive the second one I will place it at the top back area of the rack as to have it exhaust out the hotter air that rises in the rack. Outstanding product, shipped fast, and I could not ask for any better of an addition to to my rack rig !!!

Good Build Quality, Quiet Fans, and Works Overseas
I'm happy with the purchase, and will probably buy more when I upgrade to a larger rack. Good quality build, the fans are quiet, and very easy to install. For those in countries with 220-240 voltage: The power supply is a US two prong adapter but supports 100-240V, 50-60Hz power and is working great for me in Hong Kong. For my setup, I paired this with a short IEC C14 to NEMA 5-15R cable which allowed me to plugin to my PDU. You can also change the controls to Celsius. You can run an additional Cloud Plate through an included extension cable, so you can actually run two of these fans (say in intake and an exhaust) of a single power connection. The extension cable shares power and synchronises temperature configuration and fan speed. There are more details about this on the manufacturer's web site.

Cools well, Display is fading
Generally great airflow for my 21U rack, I have two of these fans to blow air in and out (the other is a different part number but same general thing). Fairly quiet and the daisy chaining, to power one off of the other, works well. My only complaint is that one of my two has a fading display to where some segments of the numbers don’t display after a few months of use. Though I did have these units for about four years before I got around to plugging them in and using them.If the display wasn’t fading so soon after starting use I would give this a 5.

this thing works great!! Well made and quiet
So far, this thing works great!! Well made and quiet, seems to move a lot of air as well. One caveat I wish to disclose; I learned the hard way that in order to change the direction of the fans from push to pull it is necessary that ALL SCREWS be removed from this unit before attempting to open this assembly up. I initially thought that by removing the (6) tiny phillips screws on the top and bottom edge that the unit could be opened up and allow the reversing of the fans to change airflow direction. WRONG! All (38) phillips screws must be removed from the chassis to accomplish this. The (6) tiny phillips screws on the top and bottom edge as well as (32) larger phillips screws which hold the fan and grille assemblies in place on both sides. (16 screws per side). I'm glad I discovered that before I did too much forcing trying to get the case to open up without removing the 32 larger phillips screws! This is not disclosed anywhere in the instruction manual supplied with the unit; only that the fan direction may be reversed if desired. I WISH THEY WOULD UPDATE THEIR INSTRUCTIONS! Would I buy again, Yes!

Does everything they claim and looks nice ..
It does everything that I expected and more. There are three modes of operation: (1.) Manual "On"; It stays on until you turn if off (2.) "Auto": It runs until it reaches 2 degrees below the desired temperature setting, then turns back on automatically when the probe reaches the desired temperature setting again. (3.) Smart: It runs at a higher speed until the temperature of the probe is the same as the desired setting. Of course, you can also manually turn the unit off.The fan is relatively quiet during it's full-speed operation. The noise wouldn't be objectionable in most home theater applications, particularly if it was inside a cabinet. You can set the light for the LED panel to either stay on all of the time, or to just light up for a few seconds, then turn off automatically.. Personally, I like to see the lights all of the time, so I set it to come on. I have three of them in a rack, and it looks impressive with all three lit up.The air blows out the front. There doesn't seem to be a way to switch directions of the fan electrically. You might be able to take it apart and reverse the fans-- I haven't tried it. It's put together with screws, not rivets, which is good. In some applications, it works better to have the fan blowing in, but it seems to work well blowing out in most situations. So far, I have nothing bad to say about it. It does what it says it does, and it looks nice. I just installed it, so I can't tell how well it will hold up for the long term. It seems like a quality product, however, and I expect it will last for several years without failure. Because it's assembled with screws instead of rivets, the fans can probably be replaced if they eventually wear out.

Works great but I replaced the fans
Overall this device is great. I had to knock off 2 stars though because it's a bit expensive for the actual functionality and the fans themselves have an absolutely awful whine to the point where I had to swap them out quieter ones.
