The quality of the leather work and paper really impressed me. I would have liked there to have been more paper but that is an easy fix. The paper it came with is thick enough to work with inks and markers. I haven’t tried it with watercolors but I’m hopeful.

Meh
The tree on the front is not as defined as the one pictured. Was really disappointed in that. It was a Christmas gift so didn't return it as I wouldn't have anything to give. The person receiving it didn't complain but i don't know if thats just because it was a gift and they didn't want to be rude.

Good quality.
Nice quality journal. Wish it had two straps instead of one though. The pad that comes with it isn’t as thick as it looks in the pics.
