Question 2

The led light does not flash to pair with the eWeLink app.  How do you pair it without?

Mr Thomas apparently doesn't have much in the patience department. To answer the question is dependent on the model or the bundle options with either a analog or digital thermostat or wifi controller.  In order to use the eWeLink app you have to select the panel that comes with the wifi/digital thermostat option.

The base 400 watt version comes with a analog thermostat. These panels are pretty neat, this past winter I decided to stop using my central ac's heat pump. I added a couple Benton Art Glass heaters, one of these and two HCX9115 to heat my 2000sqr ft home.

In doing so I dropped my heating costs by more than 40%. The base Ecohome panel I bought had a analog thermostat, which I upgraded to a digital thermostat as it's way more precise.  Truth be told I tried about twenty different heaters and half a dozen different technologies.

Would this work in a room with a hot tub? Indoor but unheated.. Thanks!

Thank you for your interest in our Wall Mount Heater. This heating panel can work in a room with a hot tub if it’s away from any contact with water. It should be mounted far from the vanity and shower.

Question 4

Does this have an automatic shut off switch?  I'm interested in installing it in a rental, and am concerned tenants could forget to turn it off.

Thank you for your interest in our Wall Mount Space Heater. 
This unit only has a manual on/off switch at the moment. The new shipment that will be arriving soon will include a plugin thermostat that will turn off the heating panel when the room temperature reaches the preset temperature. We also anticipate on selling our newer updated smart panel version by the coming season that will have built-in Wifi capabilities and some other nice features that you will be able to turn off remotely.
