Neville

My three and six year old boys enjoyed the book! We already had a few books about leaving our old house behind and having our same stuff at a new house but this book simply touches on making new friends in a new neighborhood!

My Son checked this out one day at the library when he seen his name on the cover. he loved it and the other day asked if he could get it again. i told him i couldn't find it any more so he wouldn't keep asking about it later on, I'm going to give him this book as a Christmas gift.

Another good read from Norton Juster. My son requests this book, out of the many he owns, on a fairly frequent basis.

Loved this book. It has the same name as my hubby so i bought it to add to our library!

A little boy moves to a new neighborhood. He is not excited about it. His mom encourages him to walk around the block and see if he can meet anyone. Skeptical, the boy heads out and then he decides to just holler, "Neville." Soon he has a whole crowd of kids hollering Neville's name, with questions as to who Neville is. None of them realize that Neville has been there the whole time.Could be helpful for a kid who has moved. Not exactly a tactic I'd suggest to someone who'd just moved, but makes for a somewhat comical story that could break the post-move blues. It does beg the question of whether the kids will like him after he kinda lied to them the day before...hmm. (Of course, they also didn't ever ask his name, so it is partly their fault.)
