Moen Wetherly Mediterranean Bronze High-Arc Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray, 87999BRB

This faucet was purchased brand new 2 years ago and installed into a brand new sink in a brand new kitchen. There were no old/refurbished parts used in the entire sink setup and plumbing. It is a beautiful faucet with a unique coloring and style. I truly love Moen brand as I currently have two faucets and a shower fixture in our bathroom and all three have been functioning beautifully for the past 12 years. About a month ago, this faucet would stop working at random- no water would come out! We have to let it 'rest' for awhile before water would come out of it again. Sometimes it would need to be completely taken apart, soaked (because we have hard water - although this never happened with the bathroom fixtures), and blown out with an air hose. For the most part the faucet would work again for about a day and then we'd go through this all over again. I've seen many youtube videos focusing on the same problem and it's usually something about a diverter. This model may be not be very well built or I got the bad one of the bunch, which is truly unfortunate because it looks gorgeous in my kitchen. For this price, it needs to function longer than two years.

soooooooo much nicer than my 80s builder quality single lever moen sink faucetwhich only had 4 " of clearance over my double sink center divider. The old faucet was so awful mostly because it was impractical for the sink and was leaking in 3 places...the replacement o rings sold these days were too large...anyway...I could not get this old faucet out, had to call real plumbers who sawsalled the sucker for five minutes and installed this new faucet. All I can say is wow. I had them mount it without the face plate due to the shortage of holes in my sink... that way I could use the hand sprayer in the old hot water hole from the previous setup and put the ro unit in the cold water side...works beautifully and is solid and easy to use. The hand sprayer is a great option, I really enjoy the reach it has...it's also not overly powerful (we have high water pressure) and the other sink faucets are way too powerful with the output, and water splashes everywhere. The lever on the main faucet doesn't have the extreme need to go 180degrees from right to left in order to get the hottest and coldest temp waters. This faucet only needs to pitch from left to right about 90degrees or less. It's also much taller than my other faucet, it has lots of clearance over the divider, no more swiveling to angle water into deep pot or needing to move large dishes out of the way to be cleaned last.It's so nice having a modern faucet and one that looks lovely as well as feels solid and works so well...I really am totally satisfied! Would buy again!It's been about 10 months since I had this installed and I loooove it! I am going to 're use it when we remodel our kitchen instead of upgrade. It's just wonderful. I wanted to post a tip though. We have really hard water, it's like an 18 on the measurement scale per our water board. So, any water that dries on the faucet leaves white residue, especially in recesses. Sooooooo, I just figured out I could wipe the faucet down with a little olive oil on a paper towel every few weeks and it works wonders to repel and combat the hard water scale. The faucet looks better than new because it's really shiny and slick. Water drips right off now.

It came time to replace the old kitchen faucet and I decided this was the one. I liked that the spout is a little taller. Makes it so easy to fill pitchers or the big pots without have to angle out from underneath. So it came quickly and had all the parts needed. It looks better than the picture online too. It was my first faucet replacement and went extremely well. I'd say the hardest part was just getting the old one out. Once that was done it probably only took about 10 minutes to put the new one in. And everything works very smoothly. I love this new faucet.

We installed this faucet the day it came and we absolutely LOVE it! It’s beautiful and truly oil rubbed bronze with lots of color variation. It goes perfectly with my white farmhouse sink...just the right touch! The picture shown does not do it justice. My husband installed it in about an hour and had no problem at all. Highly recommend!

While not the latest design with a separate spray wand, this reaches further for filling countertop appliances without moving them or resorting to a pitcher. The handle and color are reminiscent of a hand pump which fits modern country style kitchens well. My situation required the purchase of additional supply line couplers (3/8 OD x 1/2 MIP, Everbuilt PN LFA-124) in order to tie into an older system. Moen supply lines are generous and don’t require additional lines by today’s standards. Installation was very quick which credits the mechanical design team.

This faucet is beautiful. I purchased the oil rubbed bronze and it looks great with my black granite. I am disappointed that when you turn on the water it is leaking around the side of the nozzle. I contacted Moen who send me a new aerator and it still leaks other wise I love my new faucet.

We purchased this after getting new countertops installed in our kitchen. My husband had no trouble installing it himself. It looks fabulous and has good water flow. The side spray has plenty of pressure (I specifically wanted a separate sprayer and not one of the pull-out ones that are so popular these days).The bronze color is beautiful. The faucet is nice and high for easy pot filling and swings nicely from side to side. I couldn't be happier with my choice of this faucet.

Love this faucet! The design has stayed up with my cleaning - no fading. It upgraded my kitchen and doesn’t have leaks. Install was super easy! We were don’t in 15 mins!
