For being 18 gauge steel, the 3D design makes the strength of the metal more durable.This does have a little bit of weight to it so if you plan to hang it outside make sure it's secured properly. The colors are 1,000% on point. The details are carefully crafted.The pictures shown for the metal art truly under score what you see in person.THE ONLY DEFECT ON OUR ORDER WAS A 1" LONG BY .25" WIDE DEEP SCRATCH DOWN TO BARE METAL ON A PART OF A WING. With that said, the colors and protective coatings are reasonably thick giving the eagle longevity.

Received my eagle. A couple of the toes were a little bent from shipping but no issue straightening them. I hung it on my covered porch wall - AWESOME!! I did have to improvise hanging it by adding a metal chain to the two back hanging things as my siding is Hardy Plank and did not want to put holes in my siding. I found a product that hooks over the siding to hang things from.
