A great pry bar set, except for the yesteryear style handles.
I bought the Sunex 9704 pry bar set as an upgrade to the TEKTON 3350 Pry Bar Set, 5-Piece that I previously purchased. The Tekton set was a great introduction to the utility of pry bars, but I thought that I could do better. The Sunex has a quality feel to them, much more balanced in your hand than the Tekton. With the exception of the 8-inch bar, the Sunex ends are sharpened so that the bars better slide under your pry objects. The metal finishing on the Sunex is better than on the Tekton; the paint flaked off of the Tekton after a couple of uses. I used the Sunex for front-end suspension work (removal and replacement) on a 1-ton pickup and I saw minimal flexing of the bar. I am constantly using the 8-inch and 12-inch bars, you'll be surprised how handy they become. The Sunex comes with vinyl protectors for the blade ends, which I appreciate. My only con with the Sunex is their handles. Supposedly, they are ergonomic, but I do not agree. The handles have an essentially square cross section, but the corners are rounded. When you grab the handles to lever the bar, they are uncomfortable in your hands because of the nearly square cross-section. Conversely, the Tekton is a joy to hold because they have the true ergonomic handle, in my opinion. In summary, I rate the Sunex a 4.5 because of its quality and price point. The 0.5 deduction is the result of its yesteryear handle.

Great for removing Wooden driveway expansion joints!
I got these to remove rotten wood expansion joints in my driveway. I had tried everything to get them out and I looked at purchased these upon recommendation of a you tuber. I am very happy with how these work to get out the old wood but the the quality of the tops of the pry bars do not stand up to being hit with a hammer. 3 off the pry bars had the tops broken by being hammered but I don’t blame the company because they did accomplish what I intended. The lower metal part was very well made and never bent or failed.

Good product so far
No issues with these pry bars. Only thing I could see being a problem in the future is the coating (rubberized?) coming off the metal and causing some corrosion, but if you are buying these you know what to do about that.

Cheap but useable
They don't have strikers built into the handles but the price is right.

Zero Problems
Feel rigid. Nice pry point. Good leverage options with the different lengths.

Work great
Bought these as a second set to keep in my farm service truck. This is the same as the Pittsburgh pry bar set at Harbor freight that I’ve had for years and have held up great. Used them the first day they came in.
