This linen wash is absolutely amazing. There are about 32 loads, at 2 oz each, in each bottle. It has removed blood, lipstick, and possibly even some evidence. And let me tell you about the smell... it's the smell fairy tales are made of.It's labeled "linen" wash, but it will clean more than your table cloths and towels. I selfishly use it on any load that has lots of my clothes in it... And I'll keep being selfish like this as long as I'm the one washing everyone's dirty drawers in this house. So there.You'll probably like it a lot, too.

I tried it out. I could tell right out of the box it was going to stink like crazy. It does. I even double rinsed to get this smell out of my expensive new sheets. I’m trying to sleep on them tonight for the first time. I’m laying on them while I type this. The smell is so overwhelming and “eeeew” that I doubt I’ll be able to sleep on them tonight. Imagine visiting your great grandmother who loves to bathe in her favorite childhood rose perfume (which somehow, inexplicably, she can still buy).... Then imagine she hugs you and now you have to smell it for hours afterwords... :SIt’s gag worthy. And now my room smells like it. Just say no to great gran and her perfume!It’s great except for that. AND believe me, THAT <—- is pretty bad.

Seriously, this is the best detergent I’ve ever used. And probably the first and last review I’ll write for a laundry detergent, but after seeing a few negative reviews here, I had to write that I love this stuff. I’m not a huge fan of overwhelming scents, but I’ve been using the original scent for many years, and I don’t find it overly strong like many detergents. To me, it smells soft and vintage, so if you can’t bear anything even remotely perfumed, you may want to stick with Seventh Generation unscented or the like. I first started using this on a recommendation from the company I buy my linen sheets from, and it is a total game changer. Imagine actually looking forward to washing your sheets. Sleeping on sheets freshly washed in LeBlanc original is like sleeping in a 5 star hotel without the room service. My only regret is the price, I wish I could wash all my laundry with LeBlanc. In the meantime, I’ll wash what I can and hope they never change the original scent or formula, it truly is dreamy.

Seriously, this linen wash is one of those products that I miss and wish for when I run out. When I bought my first pair of high end percale sheets over three years ago, this product was recommended to me to keep them their best. The Summer Verbena scent is nothing short of deliciously bright and deeply comforting. This scent is a full embrace. After I do my laundry I cannot wait to rest my skin against it, the smell is that wonderful.On the practical side--this linen wash maintains the integrity of your linens, bedding, etc. Laundry that feels otherwise waxy, heavy, and not breathing well comes back to life with this product. My sheets feel airy, smooth, and the most like their intended texture. My percale feels amazingly crisp and airy.I can't say enough good things about this linen wash. The fragrance IS powerful--but it quickly became a scent I associated with the comfort and solitude of my room. I look forward to it always. The scent is one that I will never forget, it is truly that beautiful.

I absolutely love this product. It has saved my sheets. I like fine cotton sateen sheets for our beds, but the extreme softness makes them more fragile than percale. Since switching to Linen Wash,I have not had a single sheet rip or snag. Plus the Portfolio scent is fantastic! I have the Linen Spray too for a quick refreshing of the scent midweek. The Summer Verbena scent is very nice as well. No fabric softener is needed and I only use three tbsp. of detergent, not the four thst is suggested. Four is too much , since Linen Wash is very concentrated.

Yes, this is expensive laundry detergent, but I'm guessing so are the sheets you're trying to protect. While the initial cost of this detergent may seem like a lot, I actually think the price-per-wash using this is cheaper than "regular" detergent. This stuff is HIGHLY concentrated. If you use an entire cap full of regular liquid detergent, you'll likely need only about 1/4 of that cap filled with this. Plus, I ONLY use this to wash my linen and cotton sheets, blankets, and towels. Even though it's tempting to use this for washing my clothes because the scent is so good, I just stick with regular detergent for that.One thing that is amazing about this detergent is that the fragrance actually LASTS. I can still smell it in my sheets and blankets right up until their next wash. I do find that the scent permeates into the fabric more when you let everything soak for 30 minutes or more. I add my linens to the washer, add maybe 1 to 2 tbsp of this to the detergent cup, run the delicate cycle, wait until all the water has entered the drum, let the linens roll around in the soapy mixture a few times, then pause the machine. I let everything soak for at least 30 minutes before resuming the wash. I never EVER use fabric conditioner on bed or bath linens, basically any fabric you want to wick away moisture. Plus, fabric conditioner can damage washing machines so I just stay away from it.Once the wash cycle is complete, I will dry everything outside on a clothesline or tumble dry on the lowest heat setting. These gentle washing and drying techniques along with this detergent have really made a big difference in how my linens look, feel, and smell. I'll never use anything else!

Hi, it's Xfiler's wife here. Wanted to share with everyone that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this detergent. The scent is heavenly and cleaned our sheets better than any other detergent we've used. I HATE HATE HATE that it costs so much but I think it's worth it, judging by my first few loads.Hi, it's XFiler here. Seeing my wife this happy about detergent, I would have paid double! I must admit though, it does make the sheets and towels smell damn good.

This stuff is truLy phenomenal no doubt, “it is the best”. It absolutely makes me sick that this can be sold for double what it is worth.Buy it somewhere else, do not waste your money here. There is no linen wash on the face of the earth worth over a hundred dollars. Get real.

This product is phenomenal. It safely cleans and removes stains from my linens. I increasingly use it for all our laundry needs. Finally, something that really works!
