FYI: I don't have trouble sleeping. I don't have a bad back.I was dog sitting for a friend and spent the night. I went to bed, fell right asleep and woke up the next morning - I don't think I ever moved. I looked under the sheet to see the brand (temurpedic) and went to order it. A while later I was at my friend's lying on her bed and thought it was so delicious it must be another temourpedic. It was glorious! But, it was a Purple mattress.The former runs at a min $1,000 the latter a min $500. I went online to watch mattress reviews on youtube, which recommended this polar topper for only $70.My god in heaven. My head hit the pillow, I sank into the topper a bit and woke up the next morning. I didn't move a inch. Best sleep ever. Comparable to a tempurpedic but this costs less than 1/10 the cost.When mom came to visit I slept in the guest room so she could try my bed. She (72 y.o. 2 back sugeries) couldn't believe how well she slept. She never even got up to pee - slept the whole night through. I bought one for my parents for Xmas. Do yourself a favor and buy one NOW!

I did a LOT of research, MANY hours, before buying. Has now been about two months in use. We have a very expensive adjustable bed that is just TOO hard. We needed a way to offer comfort (and less pain upon waking) from the super hard mattress rather than buying another very expensive mattress. The research said to go with a 3 inch pad of density up to 3 pounds per cubic feet. I think this is about 1.75. So I bought this holding my breath that this relatively cheap solution to the expensive yet hard mattress would help. YES IT DOES. We now have the most comfortable and effective bed we EVER have had, ever. It is adjustable, plenty of support from the great mattress and plenty of comfort from this final touch, the mattress pad of comfort. VERY PLEASED. The research was right, the choice was great. Can now sleep well and wake rested with little to NO pain. HIGHLY recommended.

I was a stomach sleeper 'till it gave me a pinched nerve in my mid-30s. Doc told me to switch to side-sleeping, and ever since I have slept, on one side or the other, long and straight as possible. Then came sore hips and a little osteo-arthritis. Ow! I have an old mattress that was never soft enough for me anyway, though the store model felt okay at the time, and though it is a pillow top. It has always felt like a slab, and feather beds never helped.This mattress topper is, so far, wonderful. No weird smells. Reshapes after you roll off of it. HOWEVER, the "keeps you cool" is BS. It is actually a bit warmer than the bed was without it. But, for the level of cushion, I will take off a blanket or two. And, for the price, even if I have to buy a new one annually, it is well worth it. I cannot imagine risking 1.5 thousand on a purple mattress, or etc., when it could lose its shape over time. They're all foam-based, after all. I would rather have this and renew as needed. Great purchase. I am waking up less at night too!

I got this topper for one of our spare beds; I found myself sleeping on the bed more than I expected to and the mattress was not very comfortable. Unpacking and setting the topper on the bed was easy; I just didn't wait long enough before making up the bed and there was a slight odor from the memory foam which hadn't dissipated. I unmade the bed and left the topper to air with the window open for about 48 hours and the smell was completely gone. I've been sleeping on it for several weeks now and am finding it very comfortable, not overly hot (but cozy) and not causing any issues with my back.One caution: Read the instructions here on the product description, as no instructions are included in the box.

I ordered this mattress topper for my king size bed. It isn’t exactly the size, from one side to the other, there’s a very small gap. However I assume it’s so the fitted sheet actually fits on the bed and topper. I ordered this mattress topper for my fiancé because he’s been waking up with back pain from our regular mattress. Since ordering he’s pain free. The bed fluffed up to size in 24 hours, there was a slight odor but it wasn’t overwhelming. I myself usually lay in bed for about 2 hours unable to find a comfy position, however since ordering in less then 10 mins I fall right to sleep. Don’t question yourself, buy it! It’s wonderful!

I was very hesitant because I had bought a full mattress on amazon, and it was a HORRIBLE mattress.. it was way too firm and since I’m a side sleeper it gave me pain on my back, and I didn’t want to get a new mattress so I gave this pillow top a chance... this was my life saver!!! I had planned on returning it if it didn’t solve my problem but it really did!! It took me like a week to decide if I should give it a try and I’m so thankful I did. I got the 3 inch. It comes with a chemical smell but I promise it goes away very soon, the next day the smell wasn’t even there anymore... I promise it’s so worth it!

I love it so far so good I have slept better, I wasn't able to sleep and kept turning so I was tired at work so then said what the heck let me try this out and it's actually pretty comfy and the only bad thing I have to say so far is that I dont want to get off my bed, seriously try it if you dont like it send it back. I love it, it does have a smell at first when it starts to decompress, leave it to unflatten for at least a day and also for the smell to go away and then put it on your mattress 🙃.

This is very comfortable, only had for a few days and I read a lot of complaints about different products on how they had chemical smells and what not. I thus found this and it fit what I was searching for. Great Product, I bought the 3in and may recommend to others getting the smaller 2in one. The 3 in is perfect and comfortable, I just sink right in, a little harder when reading in bed though because I find I am sinking a little too much which is why the 2in may be better. Either way I love the product and I bought for better sleep/comfort which is exactly what I am getting.
