I haven’t had the need to use it yet, but I plan to take one of the canisters to an open field to test it out, just so I’m familiar with how it works. I’m a small adult female and I like this particular pepper spray bottle because it’s small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, and It’s really light weight. The all-black color is low-profile and doesn’t scream “pepper spray” so I can carry it while on a walk or through a parking lot without looking paranoid. I like that I can clip it to my waist band or to a purse pocket, and it’s tight enough to stay put but easy to pull off quickly if needed. The cap is secure and great for safety (no one wants to pepper spray yourself!) but it’s also easy to bypass for usage. I can get my finger under the cap and on the trigger without a problem. I did a practice spray to see what to expect, and the stream reaches at least ten feet and the trigger doesn’t require much pressure to press. I bought each of my adult daughters one as well!

I've never had to use the spray, thankfully, but the clip only lasts about a year of almost daily wear. It's still usable, but I have to have pockets to carry it.

The spray fits away easily because of its small size, and is extremely easy to use. I have not used it on anyone and I hopefully won't but the range is great.I love how it is impossible to spray it unless you want to due to the lock feature, but is easy to pull out and spray at a moments notice. Overall the security it provides is great for the price.

I was looking for some protection to have while running or walking the dog in the early hours. I'm prone to leaving protection behind if it's too cumbersome to equip or is obvious that I'm carrying, so I wanted something that would be quick to access if needed, but also be visually discreet. The color size, shape, and clip on function provides that.The lock/safety on it is perfect. No weird switch to twist or turn. Your thumb or index finger will naturally raise the flip top if you need to use it.I hope I don't ever need to use this, but the size and shape make this easy to carry and I'm confident that the spray distance and strength of the formula will be effective if I ever need to.

Perfect size and has a subtle appearance. It's big enough to put in your pocket and pull out when walking somewhere at night. We ended up getting a few more for the whole family.
